Hi everyone.

I got an NIP late last October and sent the form back saying I was the driver but haven't heard anything since.

Is there a time limit between notice of prosecution and actual prosecution. I think its 6 months if the police stop you and verbally give you notice but Im not sure in the case of cameras?

There certainly is a time limit, and I am sure Tom will tell you what it is. What you may find is that you get a mystery court summons because the letter got lost in the post - I dont know what happens in such a case. You are probably assumed to be at fault though because the police are *****.

Trem is correct. www.pepipoo.com for more info or help.

And don't remind anybody about it. Just let it be, sometimes they forget.

Thanks Tom, I wasn't thinking about reminding anyone, but Im at about 3.5 months at the moment so a way to go yet. Having looked into it more I think its 6 months from the time that they know the named driver.
