Hola all...
Got myself some Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 THX speakers and a while back they went pop.
I know fuck all about electronics but I opened up the subwoofer and found a glass fuse that was burned out.
Fuse was labelled 2,5A and the part of the circuit board it was attached to is labelled T 2,5A H.
I went out and bought some glass 2,5A fuses and replaced it but unfortunately when I turn the speakers on the fuse blows. (It actually shatters the glass!).
I'm loathe to spend a load on speakers again when it seems really fixable - so do any of you electronically-gifted types have an idea what it could be and what I should do? Are there loads of different types of 2,5A fuses or something really simply stupid like that - or is this something a professional should take a look at?
Ta in advance....
