It's co produced by sam raimi for gods sake, it's not going to be anything but stylised and funny violence.

It seems everyone that hasn't watched more than a few episodes thinks it's shit. You have to watch something fully to give a proper opinion, sounds like you are just recycling something you have read.

Watched this from start to finish over the last week. Initially i was very dubious, it's cheesy and the superimposed wound effects look a bit naff. It all hides a rather well written and compelling story though. I thought John Hannah was mis-cast to start with but ended up really liking him
