here they are, all these emails have sent me some sort of spam, loads aren't here cause they now get chucked into the trash by my message rules.

spam is a real nuisance for me too. The one that sends me about 5 e-mails a day about gardening tools is the worst. Theres so much to filter though so i cant be fucked

My email client allows me to BOUNCE spam - ie, it sends an error message back to the originator that makes it look like it hasn't been read and can't be delivered - do any others offer that? I ask because it's getting a bit old & creaky now.

outlook is very flexible with its message rules, you just have to be arsed to set it up properly.. oh yeh, and if it's not good enough, you could could your own rules in VBA for outlook

I mainly use my bw / blueyonder mail accounts, but i do have a hotmail one which gets about 60/70 spam mails a day, and thats with a full blocked senders list :\

One thing I notice about using a quality ISP, i.e. with a monthly subscription, is the level of spam seems to significantly decrease, my few short months on LineOne soon had me ignoring their e-mail system.
