8/10 from edge is fairly impressive. I just assumed this would be garbage but I'm actually considering buying it now.

Edge reviews aren't as reliable as they once were. Stopped buying it after some very strange review scores several years ago.

That being said, I have heard it is supposed to be good, I am intrigued by it too.

Metacritic and steam"critic" says abiout the same, 8/10+.

Bought it myself yesterday just about to boot it up.

The Guardian reviewed it, liking it overall, but it didn't sound like that great a game. The real pay off is it's like watching an interactive South Park cartoon apparently.

Story: south park
Graphics: south park
Humor: surprise, south park

Light RPG (kit out character and such).
Run around, loot sh*t, fights stuff.
Fighting is turnbased(jrpg) with quicktime elements.

Good fun, better if you like south park.

Been looking forward to this for ages, even more so now the reviews are coming in and they're decent.

The only thing putting me off is the downright lazy censorship in the EU version. Some scenes didn't pass in one country (Germany I believe) so they've censored the scene in all EU countries and given us this:

This is only the case for consoles though, the UK PC version isn't censored for whatever reason.

Forgot to add to last; combat does get a bit samey at times, but so does xcom combat so, make of it what you will.

This game is absolute gold, I refuse to believe anyone who is a fan of South Park can dislike this

Good game, good fun, story could've been better at parts(meh point really ) and 7-8/10 is fair. Playtime was around 15h i think, not a 100% completionist run, but close with a fair bit of faffing about.

Overall a nice little snack game between the skyrims and xcoms.

Not really surprising. Games like this aren't all that compatible with professional game reviewers.
