Sound Issues...

Well, I'm sort of playing music through this surround system, and it's getting picked up on the volume bit (bottom right) but the sound isn't actually coming out - BUT, microsoft/Realtek tests are working fine :S
Anyone got any idea?

Onboard sound?

Made sure it's the deafult for playback?
Made sure the jack is in the right hole?
Made sure it's not muted in volume control?
Checked the speakers work elsewhere?

Did you turn the surround system on? Selected the right input?
