Sound issues

Got the game last night and installed without a hitch; have played both of the demos with no problems at all.

Loaded the game up, watched the intro etc, all with sound, but it disappears as soon as the menu screen comes up - no sound ingame or in the menus. I never had this problem with the demo, and I've tried fiddling around with the sound settings as much as I can, but to no avail.

I'm running a P4 2.8ghz (HT enabled) with a Radeon 9800 and an Audigy 2, all with latest drivers.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you are using the catalyst 3.7 graphics drivers and also try cycling through the sounds options from miles soundsystem, to eax 2, to eax 3.

I've fiddled around with the sound options all I can, and I've already tried uninstalling my 3.9s and using 3.7s.

Didn't work :/
