I have recently done a clean XP reinstall. Reloaded all my drivers and everything works, except my sound card.
I have a Game Theater XP and I cant get any sound from it. Device manager sez everything is OK, but......
1. If i do a DxDiagnotic sound test it returns errors to me
2. My system crashes if I try to switch on the graphics equaliser in the software
3. Media player returns errors if I try to play music
I dont really expect anyone to be familiar with the card, what I really want to know is how to find out if the card is stuffed as I suspect that the software isnt the problem here.
Any advice or ideas where to look would be welcome
