Problem is: it has the story mode, in which you have to fight while poisoned, only use throws etc.

I read that there is slowdown here and there, mainly outside in the rain.. cos it was ps2 specific type code or something.. but that it's not *too* bad.
Either way, it'll run better than on my pc so I'll get the xb version.

Aye, the xbox input is essentially a malformed usb thing afaik.
I wouldn't want to use a ps2 pad tbh, after getting used to the xbox pad it's pretty good. Plus, ps2 pad would be lame for things like halo/splinter cell.

I love my Messiah.Was SC UK version (ie on the Dreamcast) slowed down, like Tekken UK was? Or did it run at full arcade speed. I only ever played it in the arcade.
And there will be guides up as to what the silly jappo monkey speech means within days. Heck, non-jappo people play Final Fantasy games and release walkthroughs for them ("Pick the first option, then the third, then the first - Vincent should wake up..." etc)

I think DC-SC was slower, yeah. At least that's what I was told. But then I downloaded some vids of it from ign, and they seemed to be about the same speed. So who knows.
