People turn their noses up at cheap wines in the off-licence, FFS that's pathetic working class pseudo-snobbery, if the wines that bad why the fook is it on the shelves, why's it made in the first place?
Are there actually wine producers who know their stuff tastes like shite , but knock it out anyway and can't be arsed changing the recipe to make it nice?

Cheap wine is to get drunk in, those who produce it knows it, i know it and the person who buys it knows it.
Expensive wine might taste like shit (very rare i get a good chance to taste good expensive wine) to you, not nescessarly does to me. Kaviar tastes like shit, still expensive like hell. In the cheaper ends like candy, some tastes like shit, tho, its still being produced -.- (hope it made sence)

I am a wine snob.
I like Sancerre and Chablis, both of which are relatively expensive.
I like Merlot and Rioja again which can be expensive.
I drink mostly boxes of Soave or Spanish red, because they are cheap.

Wine is one of those things where you get what you pay for, cheap wine is generally mass produced from lots of vineyards with a mixture of grapes.
More expensive wines, tend to be from a single grape and from one region. Very expensive wine, comes from one vineyard.
It is a preference, I like italian whites or spanish reds for an evening in front of the computer. I like to pick up a 'good'* bottle of wine if I am going to visit people. If I am in an expensive restaurant I like to get the wine waiter to choose for me .

i like wine (no preferance for expensive or cheap just so long as its nice)
i like beer (bud is my favourite but becks, kronenberg is also good)

also bailies, pimms (i say!), tia maria in coffee is lush, and tequila when im feeling naughty.

however i dont drink much (those days are gone lol) nice cold beer or glass of wine with dinner and thats about me lot my days of drinking to get hamered have been replaced by a nice drink cos i fancy one, a sure fire sign that your getting older.

not going to knock drinking to get hammered cos i had some mighty fine times also had some mighty crappy hangovers and i can definately do without them lol.
