There is a knock at the door and a cough from beyond. Without waiting for you to invite him in, a man in the robes of a Friar steps into your room. Looking not nearly apologetic enough he raises a hand in greeting and sits down. You rise to your feet but he cuts in, anticipating your question.
"I'm sorry to intrude, but I fear I am being spied on. There is treachery afoot in the realm and I fear that my position on the Council will make me a target for the conspiracy."
The man rubs a hand over a tired and wrinkled face.
"I am sorry, I should introduce myself. I am Vorost of the Humberton Council. This is all so.. melodramatic and yet it must be so I'm afraid. I need to know that I can trust you. Will you come to Humberton tomorrow evening ? I may have uncovered more of the conspirators plot by then. I do not think that we have much time."
A shadow falls across the window and the old man looks up, startled.
"Well my son !" His voice booms across the room and his disposition changes dramatically although you can see his fingers are shaking slightly.
"I am glad you were able to discuss your business with me. Perhaps I shall buy the items from you tomorrow."
Rising to his feet, the old friar shoots you one last desperate glance before setting out into the inky dark beyond.

I have to say I had some great fun last night with the defence of Swanton Keep and the attack onthe Outcasts.

It's nice to join in on these small events just for the fun of it.

You got a change from the normal routine, a chance to do something different and personally I fell about laughing at some of the one liners that were being bandied about.
The only thing about the night I didn't enjoy was listening to people asking continually what they were going to get out of it

Was reading the follow on all about the Humberton event held the other day

Anyway, A few guilds: Griffon Knights, Order of the Knights Templar, Uranicus Phalanx, Shadow Brothers and Rising Force all got mentioned (although nerf not mentioning the handfull of us DLK that were present <sulk>

Honourable mention went to Rhuvetha as well and I quote:

So a big YAY for all of us who were there <YAY> and a salute to Rhu seems in order to me
