Anyway, if you live in the North West and are looking for something to do over the weekend, and you like Air Shows, then come to Southport !

Theres the annual FREE Airshow, its very good and held down on the beach. You can park your car with all passengers and watch from there for £17, or park in town and walk down for free. Theres also the usual stalls and other attractions.

The week after is the British Fireworks championships (fri,sat,sun), I love loud bangs

i'll be going to them yuckfou, only live a coupla miles away

firework champs last year were good, especially when you were close (although some of the displays didnt match the music)

airshow was pritty good too, but no red arrows this year
