say what stuff she likes and folk can come up with better suggestions, though on the off chance she likes sweeties...we went in to marks and sparks yesterday to get bf's nana something and they do have a rather nice selection of posh sweets in there, so whatever you get her tbh get her a box of choccys or something aswell, make her feel really spoilt then you can hit her for something cool when its your birthday cos she'll be all like "aww my lovely thoughtful lil gollum, he spoilt me with these ferrero rocher!"

Well a cool thing is also a specialty from some region. I bought wine, but not usual stuff. There is a region in bavaria known for their fruit-wines, so I bought a bottle of cherry wine.
