Haven't written a song in a while, so here's one to chear up anyone feeling a bit of the fall blues.

*ahem*

Sometimes the world knocks us down and we're left to eat the dust.
We feel all of our hopes and dreams we had, fall apart and rust.
But when you think it's all over and you just can't keep going on.
Take a while to read these words and try to hear the song.

Remember that little dog, when you walked past the shops window?
It looked at you with puppy eyes, it was putting up one cute show.
Now you're down, feel left alone, and you're feeling really ill.
When you think noone remembers you...someone will.

Remember that girl next door and the secret spot you shared?
You talked about everything you loved, and everything you feared.
And when she was the first girl you kissed, it really was a thrill.
When you think noone cares for you...someone will.

Remember those saturday mornings, you were partying out too late?
Your mother came to your bedroom, didn't care about your state.
She gave you a glass of lemonade, trying to make you feel well.
When you think nobody has love for you...someone will.

You're feeling lonely in your own flat, you're living your life now.
Everything is wrong, all is gone, you feel like your on death row.
But chear up now, there's someone out, waiting for you still.
When you think nobody will come along...someone will.

So this may seem like a pile of crap, just empty words you hear.
But this your feeling in your heart, is something we all share.
We all feel down, we all get sad, we feel the urge to kill.
So when you feel you got no friends...

So when you feel that noone cares...

...we all will.

You have forgotten a repeatable chorus

This sounds more like a poem then a song though

Actually, i haven't.

I'm not writing bubble-pop for brtiney spears so 15 year old kids can sing the bloody chorus over and over in a bus.

Music is poetry, without music it looks like it.

Thanks for the feedback to all.

toht, that actually made me feel rather weepy

lovely stuff tbh really really lovely, some folks havent got any family and come on FH to check up on what everyones thinking lately, what makes them laugh or makes them cross, or upset and generally its all good fun, but when you come across something like that that makes you realise that well just because you havent got many who care for you be everso grateful for who you have got, something that really is very touching and genuinely does cheer a sad and weary soul, well tbh its stuff like that that makes things good.

well done old bean
