Somebody help

Ok, so me and aload of friends have been having these weird text messages saying

The weird thing is though, they've text all my mates and MY DAD, who have no connection with each other, and they've text my gf's little brother saying the same thing. Nobody is related or know each other. It's so weird

I tried ringing it and then they answered and hung up straight away. Then when it went onto the answering machine it said

''This is the blick voicmail'' blablabla.

It isn't one of those scams though because they know my real name. Although they spelt it Reace instead of Reece, has anybody had these weird text messages.

The number is - 07965217185 (+44)

Every single one of us are baffled, we've no clue who it could be. We have asked all the obvious jokers in the circle but everybody has had the text.

There is no way in hell they will know my gf's little brother, hes like 13 and doesn't know any of my mates, its fucking weird. Even my dad has had it. Even my MUM! wtf. It's weird, is there anyway of reporting them to try and find out who it is? Thanks

Police should handle them, or even if you find out the provider(if they have different starting numbers like in finland providers).

Otherwise, safety measures:

Turn of bluetooth, just incase.
Turn of networking, just in case.
Don't even open any messages such as that.
Try asking local phone provider for a block.

The problm with any service that can find a mobile phones owner via the number is that they all charge about £40 for acces which I think is stupid (as to search via regular phone number is free). If you got a facility to block numbers, you may as well use it.

Anyone who calls my phone and I don't recognise who they are (or someone who irritates me like cold calling) then they get instantly blocked.

After browsing their site I've found this: http://manual.blyk.co.uk/display/brands/Caret - which would explain the ^ character being used, it separates the message from the advert they add onto it.

I assume it's just a Blyk user SMS spamming. How the user got all your numbers in one go though is slightly puzzling.
