I know somebodies already done this, but would anybody be interested in helping me put a maps website together. It could contain maps for every game. I've only just thought of it and it does sound crap but if you interested mail me

well i'd be lookig for people to help with site ad people who could submit maps. i can create the site but will have truble filling it. if youre interested mail me

i already said i know its been done before, im just asking if anybody like to do another one. and whats to say this one wouldn't be the best one. its not going to be but hey who cares, its something to do. so if anybody is interested in doing the 1,000,000,000 maps website let me know if not who cares

Personally I think at the moment the best thing to do would be to try and encourage more servers to run the custom maps, only then would there really be scope for a large, mainstream, well-known site on the matter.

not a chance dan, ive yet to see a CS custom map server live. even one with a large community i played on eventually died. the best bet is to maybe add one custom map, maybe 2 if its a big cycle..then people will dl them..

as for a site, there are tons, dont bother.
single player maps are a possability. allthough i allready have a good SP maps site bookmarked

Would this involve unlimited filespace for custom maps to be uploaded, btw? Its something that mappers like me are crying out for more of.
