1) PE/Mael/Eclipse declare an "open day" where they invite non guilded rr lowbies for a few hours into their groups for some rvr experience.

2) Albs print off a map of the their own frontiers and know /loc of keeps

3) On any given night, an rr5+ sorc shouts "lfg" at apk

4) All the rr10 chars suddenly decide to reroll "because it will be a challenge"

5) More than one cleric in the alb zerg has ML5 or more.

6) A hib group less than rr7 actually goes rvr on a regular basis

Ok some over exageration here :m00:

I often get the feeling mids/hibs are alot more organised than albs -is this true ?

you missed a few.

Albs NEVER leave their pk without 5fgs+ with the exception of PE
same with mids and Maelstrom/bo

And some things everyone loves to hear in RvR

1) "Hey, I'm leading an Alb group through the Frontier - everyone stick to me real close coz there won't be any AE insta-mezzes out there, no-sirree"

2) "Yes I got the ram parts... you brought the tools?"

3) "Inc" (particularly when in battlegroup chat and not followed up by any indication of who is inc, where they are inc, how many are inc and from what direction)

4) "Our Guild got 250 bps, can we claim?"

5) "What does MMG mean?"

1) why?

2) don't play with people who don't know loc of their own keeps

3) roll one and then try playing in random groups, fun, isn't it?

4) why?

5) then organise raids so that people get them and exclude people from your group who cba getting ml5 after 7 months of toa while their class needs that to be better in rvr (assuming they are actually playing alb all that time and they are active on their cleric)

6) that's not true

I'll gladly reroll, if you insta give me ML10 and TOA shit for new SC.

In other case, not a fucking chance, PVE is major bumlick as it is nowadays to get a RvR capable char.

Zede, RvR guilds not inviting randoms is the same as a PvE guild not inviting non-guildies to farm raids...

if we were an RvR guild we'd do exactly the same

Most of the time I think it only seems that way.

As for the Map thing, 1.71 has nice little in game maps that show your location on them. Much easier to navigate.

I do agree that the difference in organisation between Albs and Hibs/Mids is very much overstated, but there is a grain of truth in it. One of the reasons Albion is overpopulated, in my opinion, is due to what happens when people first join the game (and yes, there ARE still people joining!). Particularly among the younger demographic, Albion initially seems more attractive... not through any in-game reason, but simply because it is more recognisable as a "heroic" fantasy stereotype - there is a reason the game was marketed under the name Dark Age of Camelot.

For the reason given above, there will always be a larger percentage of the population of Hibernia and Midgard who are experienced players with experienced characters, and it would not surprise me in the least if the average age of Midgard/Hibernia players is a notch higher than the average age of Albions (although my presence in Albion does level things out a bit ;) ).

So, a larger population of younger and more inexperienced characters and players in RvR for Albion must contribute at least in some small way to a greater degree of disorganisation (and, particularly considering the age argument, a natural and perfectly understandable indifference towards accepting and following instructions - speaking as an ex-teacher here btw!). This isn't an excuse or a whine for lack of organisation sometimes on the part of Albion in RvR, just an attempt to explain and give possible reasons why the "disorganised Albs" stereotype isn't as much of an unsubstantiated myth as some people would have you believe it is.

Ofcause it did, all albs had to download a new version of the albzerg_script since key 1 on all shortbars was /stick steveh and not /stick Duracellus and we all know that he wont leave pk with less than 5 fg.

;)

PvE Isn't RvR, RvR requires massive amounts more skill than bashing mindless NPC's I am sorry.

I agree with the kebab. TOA ruined like 90% of the fun with having an alt. From the start when there was retail only, things were fun, interface looked cool and nobody would think SC would come. Then SI came, sucky interface with a town call Aegirhamn (aka red fps). The looks of water etc. were cool but still slower then the classic. We got SC, it ruined the game. Remember when people decided to gank WoW etc. (mid only, no idea what alb/hib has similiar). And people were happy. I must add, I liked the old fashion pve, it wasnt that horrible and to run around in df etc. was kinda fun at this moment.
SI made you PvE but SC fucked that up.

Then..BLAAAAAM TOA THE UBAR SUPER EXPANSION! To even stand a chance first, you must buy this (you could still play decent without SI, but lets face it, without toa youre fucked) then you had to PvE like a madman to get ML:s that takes ages. And on top of that, get scrolls, artis (mobs spawns like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) then exp the artifacts. Cool, you do it once but then it is so fooking boring.

To this I will add the different kind of players. People who play to pvp, (also know as "you-just-want-to-be-elite-gamers-silly-retards-hahahha-omg-I-want-to-be-like-you-but-I-dont-got-what-it-takes") you want a mainchar who is fit for rvr with eq. ML:s etc. to even stand a chance against a person who has ML:s etc.

Then there is the people that enjoys PvE. I understand that, pve can be decent to if you do it in a funny way.

It used to be able to roll a char and SC etc. in less then 1 week with set expgroups but now you will add like a month to get artis/ml:s/scrolls and shit.

Sucks

Exping artis will be a bit easier with 1.71. Shame it won't be here on this century AND PoC will be overcamped when it hits.

I think just because I'm afraid to leave a PK or BK without one or two hundred close personal friends doesn't mean all Albs are as crap as me :D

Albs are organised when Albs want to be, and its the same with Mid or Hib.

Just takes the motivation to get on with it, I've seen some rather nicely complex things achieved since I've been in Alb which has all been good practice for NF.

I know back in the time I played Hib I joined an Eclipse group sometimes with my chanter (was rr1-3 at that time) no idea if their attitude has changed but they were the most friendly "l33t gank group" I've come across.
