Some Questions About Camlann

I've played here in the past but its been a long time, and never got to 50. Just wondering some basic stuff.

How do relics work ? Or don't they ?

Is anyone still safe or can you die in the main cities etc?

Also wondering if anyone can offer some advice on a tank group - we've always fancied trying one but never done it and now seems a nice time perhaps. What you reckon's the most optimum setup? Or most fun?

Pac/Mend Healer
Bard
Druid
Merc/BM/Zerk/Sav/Valk
Merc/BM/Zerk/Sav/Valk
Merc/BM/Zerk/Sav/Valk
Merc/BM/Zerk/Sav/Valk
Pally

Or skip the bard and put another Healer in?

PS How about alliances? Do people in the alliance start to con "friendly" etc?

relics work. 10% for one reli, 20% for 2, 30% for 3.
setup - take a shaman and at least a theurg if you really wanna run a fulltank group. youll lack some rupt if you dont ;p
there are no alliances possible on cam

but you cant have a "real" alliance, ie alliance chat or any way to actually enforce "no pvp" between guilds

Cool. We're thinking of playing a bit of Camlann - RS is doing well on Cluster and Classic atm but some of the nights are pretty quiet on Glast so gonna bob over and get ourselves to 50 and play a tank group - we're usually pretty caster heavy so it would be a bit of a change for us.

Yes, but Domnann, Goth, TOA, Aegir are PVP Zones.

Also the relics provide 10% per relic, however this is for the guild members who own it, not the realm.

forget the idia of a fg a bit to late. or well role with a fg naturaly half of your guild will stop and leave some might find camlann more suitable place. i`d prefure 5 ppl grp its enough to take down a fg on add or after hard fight or if u r skilled like bahumat bet u can pwn us camlann noobs hard ^^ and when its not prime time u`ll have less whine from solo noobs wich u will zerg in goth 5 isnt a fg and it will be easyer to form a mini grp to fight against u.


As for setup if you want tanks then take those wich are stronger in solo maybe merc reaver sorc healer shaman :< 2 demezers stink shaman pjuking and reaver bomb :< other tanks wont just do the job if u`ll end up a small team

Though the original GM and the higher rankings Officers like me no longer play there as we moved Classic. We left it in the good hands of another Officer and it's still flourishing.

Why even care about your relics since you werent able to beat rr2 groups with a rr6-10 caster group having 6 relics?
