Some observations after a fun night in HW

Me and my duo partner besserwisser went to rvr as we often do after work school, and i thought id share a few thought:

Playing fair gets u nowhere, few soloers comes by we say on vent lets not gank him 1 of us attacks him solo. this always comes back to bit u in the ass. always a add ppl run to a tower. rr 8 hunter PSed spd bursted IPed to get away when i attacked him solo. a warrior who we just had killed went away again, we hug spammed him and motioned him onward, ofc he slams me then a Sb adds.

FGs off all 3 realms go thru fire to kill soloers, few mids grps SLs etc to find a soloer who never add on there fight, lucky enough they were cought by hibs and alb FGs with clean mezzes trying to look for stealthers.

There is a big big differance in attitude on pryd vs excal, adding and zerging is much much more common on pryd, ppl almost never hesitate to kill soloers or add on fight, few albs and mids have started not to add i hope this is a up going trend. Hibs are fast to zerg fast to add, much much worse then ive seen either mids or hibs do.

Its fun to be called zerger when u fight 2 vs 3. /hugs brite

Still been good fun to fight on pryd and cant w8 for cluster to hit, altho i think many are in for a chock when they grp with others of the same realm.

Nurv lets have that fight sometime always been some adder or fg steamroling so far.

Trying to play fair most of the time, even if it's hard, you get annoyed and frustrated quite fast when zerged really. Can count with my fingers how many enemy stealthers that really solo and plays fair. It aint many

I've never fought you solo when you guys are grouped, both you and Besser starts whacking me.

People pay their subs and play how they want, but whats funny is when some claim they play fair, never add, always solo etc etc.

think a lot of people are trying to get some RPs before cluster goes live here.
the first few weeks of clustering are bound to be zerg heaven probably.

best to do is, get Vanish (or SoS), Longwind and eng-regen pots

Still dont think you could ever take me in a 1 on 1 because id have a chance to redo AF if you sheared, you know this as hell you have tried enough times and credit for that, but you have also jumped me a lot when ive got 5 others on me solo aswell....

Pretty much impossible to kill you with all tools up and you're aware, doesnt take a genious to figure that one out. I still think I can kill you with Purge down, but I need tools up (mezzpoison to mention one, 30 mins timer QQ) and abit of luck of landing the poisons fast without resists.

Again..in IRvR you are going to get added on, no question about it everywere you fight is bound to be close to somebody else due to the proximity of the portal zones.

Oriens bridge area is a joke, 16 or so alb casters just sitting there waiting to assist nuke with a barrage of stealther zerglings anxious to pop all in sight, ololol but remember what bled bridge was like Zed!?!?!

Yes but that was hardly the same, no way you can compare the bled bridge camper numbers with those currently set up at Oriens, and at least when Bled bridge was a hot tourist attraction there were other options of places to go, like Alb or Hib.

The solo honour code thing is of course total bs alot of the time, I would consider myself a pretty honourable player, I'm solo the majority of the time, other times it's no more then a duo and since I only ever duo with Belxavier that leaves me solo for a large portion of my playing time as he works alot.

I don't add on solo or fg fights, and thats everybody too not like alot of people who go by the "Oh i'll only not add on people who have a voice on FH/irc, but the casual players can feel my wrath". Obviously I'm not perfect though and accidents can happen, and I'll usually always readily apologise when they do.

It's also a bit of a misconception about assasins adding on fg fights, because it isn't as easy as it would appear. For archers of course you get the range advantages, but for assasins you need to actually get in melee range and alot of the time even strolling past a fg fight on my road elsewhere I have been caught by various ae mezzes, and forced to stand there imobile in stealth for ages.

On the flip side, there are very few fg's who would leave me be, and sometimes I've even had the scenario where by a fg is fighting another fg and I happen to engage in combat with an inf/ns/ranger/scout or whatever close by and have had the fg MA train switch to me? When I wasn't even trying to interfere with their proceedings.

No you can buffshear and insta restealth like using a charge afaik.

You zerg my tic like no ones business, 3 times now i sat down and watched your groups in fg fights and you are normally the first person to turn and attack me.

It rather hard for me to be adding on your fights in a sitting position 1600 units away from the fight but nevermind... it given me teh incentive to add on you i spose

it happens no matter what you do (just log a noname rr1 dude in rogs, you will get killed by the "ol0o0l why add on us newb" dudes even if you never hurted/added/zerged/been seen by anyone in pvpxD), so why care about it so much
10times more relaxing to sit back, turn on some hax music and wtfpwn kill instead of alt tabbing to irc if shit happens (gotta love the ppl who do it though, as i said earlier quality entertainment xD). If you are solo be prepared to get zerged, if you are grped be prepared to get zerged/added/"owned", if you are in a zerg be on the look out for an even bigger zerg Sure unfair, but when was this game fair ever?

Of course it sooks when a nice fg vs fg or 1vs1 gets ruined but you cant do fuck all about especially not with whining/posting shit... to be honest.

This is not a wajn post, read thoughts of a fun night in HW. i had a great time and ppl can add do what they want i dont pay there bills, tho its nice when ppl do stay back watch a fight if they wanna kill the winner more rps for them else a happy moment for the person who didnt get zerged

Utter bullshit, Exca people/Grps are as bad, or I'd even say worse when it comes to adding or killing soloers, I know that because I've done a fair share of soloing on exca with my warrior and believe me, grps there.. be it low RR or high RR are as rp horny as any grp you'd find here and will most likely chase you across the whole frontier, when I use my rr5(90% damage absorb for like 45 sec) I get grappled because the grps can't let 250 rps get away!! Grps on excal don't give a shit if i'm fighting someone, but if I were to add on a fg vs fg ( I don't because it's no point ) they'd QQ as hell. Also I may add that the stealthzergs over there sucks and soloing is just a snowball's chance in hell of getting a nice fight.

hehe soz for that didnt know it was ur druid, though u were oos from ur grp so we went to kill u fast but sure took time with matter resits instas and rr 5 thing, will treat u better and do a little /dance with u next time. Seen ur warrior on excal and u are 1 of the true friendly soloers who never add or zerg :worthy:
