Some fun at bled :)

Han a fun time at bled today, kinda reminded me of some of the old fashioned "noone knows what's going on" type of raids.

No rams, no nothing, 21 ppl in odin's trying to take back a keep against a small enemy force inside and those that got in or tried to get in

Maybe it's just because it was my first real RvR spind with Flaenz, but I had a good time for a while there. Perhaps it was because the forces on both sides were small for a while. When the zerging started it just got plain out boring.

EDIT: Small rant, just a pain to return home to remember that savage RAs are still hybrid costs, givv fix!

Aye I quite enjoyed it, unfortunately due to it being fairly quickly arranged, and the raid being on our own crafting (siege) keep we really didn't get round to bringing rams, and by the time we got there I was having too much fun bashing on those doors and occaisionally throwing some hammers down on the keep walls to get anything else sorted Annoying I had to leave to go to work (stuck here til 7am now ) so I missed whatever happened after we got both doors down but got wiped on the charge in (sneaky old *shutthedoorbehindthem* trick.

there where 48 first wave 50+ 2nd wave

apart from shadowblades abusing bugs and hibs magically appeared to camp amg and stop our reinforcements
it was good fun

Blah at interrupts I'd say nerf them but they're too important for thane survival . 48+? we were 3 FG max m8 sorry to dissapoint you We took out the 2 or so groups leaving Bled at just the right time so your defence was weakened thanks to great scout reporting. No idea what the hibs were doing, think a couple came to "play" with us, but maybe they were the ones boosting the numbers on your guard report.

Aye it was fun.. except for getting Raped by ur savage.. kinda lame of me well im a pally.. dying is what i do.. so Well done Flaenz (didnt like ya laughing at me tho) i dont RvR with me pally so no FH to protect me.. great fun (twas my first keep Defende)

Didn't know you could do that until I saw someone else doing it yesterday

I assume you're talking about PA'ing through the top of the keep walls from the ladder

Lots of Infils have used this tactic for a long time

had great fun there also gallak is right only 2fg left first time for bled and we came across many albs leaving bled not long after it had been taken , we set up a nasty little trap for you just down the road from bled thanks to our sb scout for the early call albs where coming , though how we found a tree big enough to hide gallak behind is still not sure .

i really enjoyed mrburns and stunned pbae the gatekeeper against what seemed like a never ending flow of albs trying to get into the keep i`m not sure who got the most rp in the end but good fun was had by all i think , the raid lastest over two hours in the end before someone brought a ram to bled and ended the siege , much fun was had by me and gallak with our mjol hammer spell , for once in the last few weeks i was more worried about me mana bar than me end or hp , note to goa give thanes mcl and i`ll stick at least 3 points in it

look forward to more raids like that one with my new alliance friends in nemesis and all the other guilds who took part

Yeah sorry about laughing, was just having etirely too much fun, and taking down a plated tank was so much fun

Aye, was great fun that keep defence. Good fight middies Its probably my first real keep defence as an infiltrator..and gotta say, i love it Loved jumping off, pa'ing..and running back up also stopping sb's from getting up the ladders Cheers mids, was a good show. Most fun i had in along time. Hope it happens again

Flaenz you had a very good reason to laugh didnt hit ya once (and to think i called my friend a gimp for making a kobbie Savage) hehe i did get pissed tho.. as i had no end or power cuz i had been running from a group of hibbies. oh well.. here it come.. my guild held the keep and the official spam was 48 mids its was 50+ as the doors went down the 2nd time

and gr8 job mids for nerfing the hibs at 3am

wasn't there for the second wave, but trust me those 48 mids weren't all there, we set out with 2 groups and had a 3rd by the time we arrived, tbh I thought we were gonna be pharmed Anyway thanks to our PBAE defenders, and whatever else happened to stop albs from coming though I dinged RR3, so there's a new Troll Flammen Vakten doing the rounds

[edit: oops thought you were referring to that not the PAing from battlements, there's been threads about that in the past, apparently yes you can target them from there so its not an exploit, and in a way its just like reaching over the wall and slitting someone's throat on the way past, kinda realistic and sneaky ]

My SM was getting hit for 300, though couldn't work out if that was from the trebs or the gtaoe

heh between the catapults and GTAE our healers were pretty busy, but it wasn't often anything to worry about, I think they get an upgrade next patch though so the tactic will be a bit more valid. (Maybe our group having 2 healers helped a bit thanks to Malguard and Inge btw you did great work)

i was constantly running to merchant, buying stones ,loading each trebuchet a few times, running upto the battlements, rezzing dead, throwin a taunt shout at you, evading the shadowbug zerg, buffing fresh guard pop and repeating every 5 minutes
