I prefer to solo, i'd say I still solo 90% of the time, however wether I enjoy it or not is another matter.
I enjoy it when I get chance to play as I wish, but most of the time its a labour of love, spending hours getting frustrated, zerged and added on whilst looking for that elusive great fight against a respectable opponent(s) that you'll always remember.
I generally don't mind the adds or even getting duo'd etc, but the cowards that just run away or vanish even when they already out number you I simply find sad and pathetic. But still there are some good enemies about and hopefully fighting them makes it all worthwhile.
And as others have mentioned, I to simply cannot be bothered wasting hours looking for a group and the afk'ers etc when I can go out and hunt by myself and possibly find that challenging enemy I can respect.

I solo but i really dont enjoy it... Getting boofed going out getting ganked 5 times in a row and resulting in a rp/h 1.5k or less.... Finally finding a soloers and people add, getting ganked by stealthgrps and getting popped by even gayer stealthers makes me /q faster and faster...

I would like too play FG's but had all my arties on my bard for 2/3 months now... and noone wants too grp a bard 4 xp...

Duo-ing with Guerra is great fun 
But so is solo-ing, specially when it means killing casters/stealthers (as tanks make my little luri cry)
And snare/disease weapons (which i have plenty) >>> those shamans that window drag, you know who you are.

I prefer duo/trio as Midgar tanks, lurking around and looking for enemy duo/trio tank groups (those are rare though unfortunately). It's a rush to ambush and kill 3-4 casters or 5+ stealthers aswell, or funny situations like when we got mezzed by a fg and actually won because we managed to stay alive and kept em busy until a mid fg came by. :>

Solo depends how it goes really - unfortunatly i can only get on to play prime time these days when rvr isnt really tailored to solo. Consequently i get ganked by stealth groups or opted groups, get frustrated, and log.
But when you get a good run going and you do meet a few others out for individual fights then it becomes worthwhile.
Not whining at this - rvr is rvr and people have every right to pummel a solo player - doesnt make it any less frustrating being on the recieving end though

- doesnt make it any less frustrating being on the recieving end though I solo quite alot though rather tend to group but it seems there's quite a lack of groups going at the moment but then again it does make my day when you see a bard + rr11 tank (wont name any names) and the rr11 tank can't deal with spiralling so he just runs in circles then an Alb group comes over and kills him

Solo alot
Often in grp some people stay 30 min an leave need afk bla blah blah etc. When in grp stay in grp ffs. At least 4 2-6 h.
Solo is better because (depends on class of ofc) u save time on waiting on others LD, toilets, tlf and so on.........

I mostly solo on my minstrel, and I'm not surprised that 50% of non-stealth solo opponents are skalds. Given how hard most FGs work to try and find me when I stealth on inc - some even useing SL or BL abilites (and usually misjudging my position completely) - I seriously pity anyone without speed 5 or stealth.
Stealth zergs can be very annoying but I dont think its as bad as some people make out, many stay in similar positions, so by looking at deathspam regularly you can get a good idea of where they are and simply avoid the area. Strangely, hib stealthers seem to zerg a lot less than mids and albs, but thats not to say there are more hib soloers, just a much higher proportion.
My prob lately has mainly been finding soloers to fight. There are precious few solo stealthers atm, and it seems around half of them won't attack unless I stand still to allow them PA; the POC area has been mostly killed off by small mid groups looking for easy RPs; and I roam agromon regularly between zones, but have seen about three soloers there total over the last week. There used to be loads more steathers around the MGs which seems quite a logical place to go, but thats all dried up now. I would encourage anyone who gets bored to go there occasionally, even non speed/stealth classes should be ok if you hide in the room above the MG or alcoves below, very few FGs stop to look there from what i've seen. The water west of beno-agromon and around beno dock seems to be fairly good (FG free) too, if any hibs/mids are looking for ideas.
