I mostly solo, and find the adding fun/challenging... however when its fgs that add on you, it kills the fun + the challenge... still wont stop me going out there alone tho

I picked option one... when i do play i am primarily solo and i do enjoy it at least half the time.

What i dont enjoy is the fact that after awhile you get groups coming along to farm the solo people. I solo on my theurg around bold area alot. It is good when i meet some duo's and very low rr trio's, however lately there are high RR groups going there and piss it up for all the solo people.

Take yesterday for instance, was me solo, 2 other albs solo, some xp'rs between bold and ren. What happens. A group of 5 hibs, including at least 2 realm rank 10 people come along and zerg about killing the 3 solo albs and the xp'rs.

Not much you can do to counter it either when they are running with bard, druid, caster, BG'r and whatever the others were. Still though i hated it in general, i was in histerics when they tried to zerg me and the rr10 chanter died to me

That's what i voted on, although i wasn't sure if i should vote for 1 or 2.
Soloing if often more frustrating than fun, especially on my zerker or valk, who have no speed or stealth.
When it gets too frustrating, i just team up with a guildie or two, something that has happened more often lately.

i have soloed for a looooong time now...My SB Painlezz dinged rr6 and Agramon came and all stealthers was duo'ing so i stoped so play that chr because i think its sick to grp like. Stealther-stealther or somthing. old frontiers i was grping with my sb with Aldoran to rr3l3 and after that i soloed all to rr6 and i solo with zerker i solo with SM i solo with warrior... I solo farme i solo almoste everything and still find it fun... if i do anything wrong i can blame my self and not the other guy i am grping with... thats mostly why i solo.. and ofc so i can get full rp/all loots

Well a lot more skill that the average f8 /face stun/NS nuke nuke nuke.
There is ONE class in the game that CAN’T spam buttons and that’s the WL. 90% of all ppl out there are mindless button spammers. And skill is when someone is spamming the buttons a wee bit better than the average drone.

i solo exclusively, and the majority of the time find it more fun than not. yes i get frustrated, yes i die alot, yes i have nearly broken a few things in my time, and YES it IS worth it.

I solo on Gamah, However I think personally teh solo game is dead..I often find 2/3 enemies..I feel for any class that cant beat 3 stealthers at once gogog op minstrel.

I solo a lot but don't really enjoy it (due to whatever reason - feel free to post it) .

my reason is that the community -in this view- suxx. ppl don't appreciate soloers, even though its pretty hard to create a decent character, make up for the loss of utility youre class cant have(for example sorcs = easy mode, but without cc, moc3+lifetap, some classes have to learn to play a lot better if they want to compete)... so its pretty hard, and still full groups zerg down a soloer without a twinge of conscience for the 180 rp they get(and causing a 15 min rebuff/walk to the place again for the soloer).. and even if you manage to avoid mach5 speeding full groups, you prolly end up getting PAed by 4-5 SBs at the same time... solo life could be lot better.

very hard to solo since cluster i think , no point trying at peek times .

best time to find solo fights is 11pm onwards and early in the morning 8am till 11 am .

Before you say somthing Gamah yea i do go around in a stealth group and it works very well , and yea i do try to solo sometimes .

i only solo and sometimes make a duo with a friend now and again, i did join a 4/5 man group the other day to farm some of the stranglers from the alb zerg which was kinda fun. FG rvr bores the hell out of me, having to wait around for afk'ers, the right class/person etc, dont have the time for it.

I solo quite a bit but far from exclusively. I get frustrated when I get flattened by FGs or cheesed to death but I still think overall it's good fun.

Why? Why are you soloing then? Firstly because I am not part of a set grp and cant be bothered to work my ass off to put together a PUG grp that insta dies on first run and then disbands.

I wont lie and say that I never enjoy the time I spend soloing but it is mostly just a waste of time and effort, from time to time it can be a real blast but sadly these moments are rather rare. The problem is firstly my class, warrior - without speed and cc. I rely on meeting people I actually have a chance versus ( mostly melee based classes) this can be hard enough, and on top of it I need to find a place to roam where the chances of getting adds are not too high and the risk of a fullgrp steamrolling me are low, AND that area also must not lack people to fight.

After soloing for a while I found some nice place to roam, but when too many people found out that this was a good place to find soloers, they exploited it by running small grps with the only intention of farming these people wanting to solo. Yes yes, If I only had gotten a dollar for every time I've heard people telling their usual bla bla " It is a mmorpg" " I can zerg if I want" " for teh realm!1" etc. Sure it is, if you follow the rules like a slave you are totally entitled to this, but I wont do that. The game is what you make out of it.

There are also too few soloers around to make soloing actually worth it.The number of people who claim they solo is however quite high.
Soloing is a waste of time and effort. The returns of fair play are minimal.

That's one of the things i don't like about FGs as well. At least for me, who's not in a RvR guild.
You get invited to a group, spend 20 min waiting for them to get the last 1-2 people to fill the group, go out, kill some and die, one or two logs, wait some more, etc...
I don't feel very comfortable in a FG either. I suck at assisting and things like that.
Duos and trios can be great fun when soloing is impossible. There's little waiting between the releases, just quickly buff up and back you go.

Like it, but lately feel there's too much downtime, getting ran over and plodding about with no speed vs having fun. Although prolly just need a change for a bit. Wouldn't mind that fancy solo title tho' .

still fun tho can also be frustrating at peak times getting multiple adds or fgs, but haveing said that can still find decent fights if you look even at primetime.
