Solo waiting artifact time

Im not sure about the camping policy from our Albions, but just a question about solo camping FG artifacts, I would like to get the Artifact Shadow of Mist, if I camp there and it will spam and im trying to get some of my friends to come over and help me with this encounter. Then there is an other FG inc to look if its up, am I right to tell them there are friends inc or is that hopeless?? I mean the friends will help me, but it will proberly take about 15-20 mins for them to come to the Artifact spot. I dont expect my friends to camp it with me for several hours(?)

if you cannot do the artifact with the people you are camping with then you ahve no right to say its camped, because it isnt.

Unless you can muster a FG within 5-10 of pop i wouldnt bother solo char camping it.

I certainly wouldnt respect someone sayign theyd been camping it solo with a level 30 mincer for 6 hours cos i wouldnt give damn if i had a FG with me, as far as im concerned its FFA to whoever has the gubbins to do it.

You can always try and tell them that your friends are coming and see if the other FG is leaving. But you don´t have any rights to claim that drop. Whoever is at the spot with a large enough force to kill the mob gets it. Otheriwse, everybody would sit and "camp" spots for like eternity.

Im for and against Artifact camping. for some Arts u gotto camp or u might never get it, but when a band of peopel get together, a valuable cost to them is TIME. IF you make a fg and go art hunting, seeing an art which is just there, but some Cyber Punk tells u to Piss off, is kinda frustrating.

So from now on, if some1 is camping an art I want,

1. I will check if their class can use it, I dont give a shit for your theories of Alts camping. If u need and want it, camp it your self.

2. You will have 15 minutes to rustle up a force to take it.

That rule doesn't always apply when people aren't online. Like in the mornings the only DKer you will see is probably me. All the rest like to play late night and I rather like to sleep at regular hours. IMO if someone can muster a group to do it let him. If we can't get along in one realm with some dignity we might as well all quit.

I've camped a fartifact for 5 1/2 hours before (with the char that can use it) when it popped I was in the process of getting people to it, then a full group turned up I told them and they said "if you aint got the peeps here to do it you can't claim it."

I think it comes down to each persons personal opinion. Some people will respect what you have gone through others won't.

I'll just gonna give it a shot, and true if i cant organize a good group within 15 mins orso that other group can pull, not planning to camp it with an Alt, just with the char im gonna use it

personally I don't see why camping there with a single person for 5 hours gives you any more right to the artifact than the group that turns up when it's up...

now if you're there first with a group that can do it but have an LD or a relogger or are buffing up or whatever then I'd respect that.

"my friends are inc to do the encounter" won't hold with me - I'm hoping that if people realise the futility of (solo) artifact camping they'll stop doing it and actually enjoy the game instead for a change

Now if it's an artifact doable by one person then fair enough - camp away if thats your kinda thing...

indeed there are some people that would think that "aww the little level 30 minstrel has been camping there for an hour... awww" and leave the encounter hell somedays I'd probably do the same (well if it was a real character not a /level campbot and I could see their guildies are in the zone on their way) just not something to rely on. It's getting a bit better now that not everything in the game is camped...

I was just wondering how people think about this, and well like i said in my earlier post, i will camp max 30 mins then continue playing, if it spam in that 30 mins i try to call some friends to help, if a group arrive i will tell them that i have peeps inc and if they mind if i took the battle, if they let me i will say Ty, if they are pulling it, i will say good luck and try it another day.
