When was the last time a battle popped near you, and you didn't go "help" or "leech" or "add"? think not many will beable to say no, never :|

Just because your group box is empty, it doesn't mean you ain't doing it btw ;p

Im nearly always solo and most of the time unbuffed.

Most of the time i just fall over in a few secs as the other stealthers run in packs.

Spent an hour or 2 at Beno Y-junc keeping watch for an attack on Fort Willow.
Didnt see a single person.

Only time i seem to have any luck is lurking in DF or sitting on a hill waiting for the alb/mid packs to bump into each other.

Funny one was a few days back when i got strange lag entering emain so stealthed then got hit by a mezz.
stood there helpless for a minute panning the camera saying 'Warmer', 'Cold' ect as Evita ran in circles around me. <grin>

amgE late this morning, Infil (i think) fighting troll in dogmode in gate house, i was looking thru the window from the bm & i saw a pally run up the stairs (bright green armour, obv been watching far to many tv make-over shows or is just visually impaired ) pally didnt add tho so i didnt, pally slammed me instead .. we had a fight, im sure the pally was going to win,but !! then infil added & i died

A bit earlier i was on the south hill at amgE, just watching the 3 albs in front of the mg, i got popped by Warr (hunter) who then /hugged me and ran, 3 albs chased us, i killed a friar & a pally, Warr killed the other one (could have added on that one but even tho Warr is my enemy it didnt feel right to shoot him then <shrug>

I know a lot of hib stealthers who do actually solo, somtimes i'll pm them to ask if they want help, if they say no i respect that, if another stealther adds ill do what i can to even up the score. I have duo'd in the past, with Phooka when i was about RR4 to RR4.5 <ish>. The rest of the time i have / do solo, i try to act with "Honour" when i fight unless its a zerg fest somwhere then all bets are off

LOL Aran told me, I was in the bowl at the time having chased Got (hunter) from almost AMG.... seems that you mezzed him about the same place as you prawned me entering emain/between bolg and emain a few times last sunday.... man was I pissed at you but hey thats life... when you mezzed me, I watched you kill Windwalka then come for me... managed to get you to pop IP though so made me feel slightly better... nerf respecing out of purge!

/Salute... but then I am only RR2... still learning my trade... but do solo quite a lot!

Not a whine so much as a question for evex?Why bring an add (whitee)when you and i were having a nice fight at the amg in odins today?Lovely scrap until that point - was enjoying it. RR7 ToA'ed NS should be a nice close fight even if i get the mezz off on her <puzzled>

imo you're a mile out with that observation, I can happily spend 2 or 3 hours wandering around and not seeing another Hib - just need to learn that there are places other than Eamin "racetrack" to hunt (that goes for all realms and classes)

Hm.. can't really comment on solo fights, since when I play my infil I mostly group with araudry, but.. had a few nice fights with iniquity, mostly involves me horribly spamming all style keys, then ending up having to vanish pa-cd to win.. or him purging and me dying cos have gimp ws :OD


but then I've also seen most 'solo' stealthers (dwera, iniquity, luon, balth, succi etc) in groups of 2 and more at times.. or if not grouped, very close together and _immediately_ running to add on 1v1 fights, so maybe even worse

My point? I didn't really have one \o/ but solo = mostly boring as low rr, as it relies on too much luck, and opponents not duoing back.. soo I'll stick with meh duo ty x<

Even in emain I can run around without seeing another Hib (stealthed or not).

Was the pally Grizzly ? He atleast has nice hurts my eyes green armor.

And lub luon even though you always spank me if battler charge isnt up.

Soloing is starting to be pretty hard now.

i like to play around solo on skald, normaly i'm either in mael grp or soloing, occasionaly in a duo
solo is good fun, but its hard as a skald as i can very rarely chose what to fight or get the jump on anyone, and fgs are evil if they see me
other annoyance is that when i know stealthers are around i can't find em so its up to them if they fight me , but even so is amusing

I solo 95% of my rvr time. Maybe higher. If not I duo with my rl mate Rorthrona. I see a fair few solo middie sbs/hunters too.

I understand the situation for the alby stealther that *try* to solo sometimes but get spanked by Aldo and friends. However, it's no different for mid soloers facing the multiple amounts of stealth zergs from alb side either (worse with mincer involved, insta stun, etc ).

Anyway my post is to say if you do try to solo in stealth, first well done. Second if you get flattened a few times in a row (due to being outnumbered), try to resist joining a stealth zerg. It's not easy I know but believe me when you do get a few 1v1s it's all made worth it imo. Win or lose in a 1v1 it doesn't matter.

And to the stealth zergers, hey you pay your subs so you play like you want. Just remember when you attain that almighty high rr, we all know how you got there gimps.

DF is a great place to have solo fights. If Albs gain DF I make a point of hunting down and wasting hib/mid stealthers, including you Inqy Although it has been a while since I've seen you in DF...hell, albs hardly have DF these days anyway :/

I've been doing the odd run in emain recently, and sometimes I'm lucky enough to get some guild bot buffs. But usually I'm solo and unbuffed, also un-TOAed it has to be said :/

My infs name btw is Uma...had some good fights against you in the past. I've quite enjoyed fighting Marath and Szakal too, as they have been known to run in DF solo too and are good opponents. Cylian puts up a decent fight too, but too much emoting after killing me for my liking :/

Anyway, if you want a solo fight we can arrange a time and a rough location via private messages. Hadrians or Odins, naturally. Same goes for any other assassin. I'll be unbuffed ofc...I hope you would be too :>

I lost yeah - no idea how ur hitting that hard since most melee spec rangers dont hit me that hard - what weps? Only thing ive been hit that hard by in the past are cold thrusters.

Oh and nice fight caestar we had in breifine - very very close and came down to literally the last hit from each of us <salute>. Look forward to another one - gl on your ML today <bow>.

And PS i see certain a certain RR8 SB and a certain RR9 hunter zerging as usual today in emain - come to odins later if you want a solo fight (after 6) and i'll probably be there. I may lose but it'll be fun and a fair fight at least.

I have the odd run in DF but like you mention it's all luck whether you happen to log in there when the other realm gets it. I spent my low 40s earning some early rps in there and that was great. (pre toa, those were the days)

Running unbuffed in df is a little risky, as most are buffed these days. There are times I'm unbuffed tho, so lets hope we meet unbuffed

Yes or try to solo as a Cleric see how far you can get from APK before you get assist nuked / shot / run over by 2fgs etc
