Solo stealth life

I solo 95% of my rvr time. Maybe higher. If not I duo with my rl mate Rorthrona. I see a fair few solo middie sbs/hunters too.

I understand the situation for the alby stealther that *try* to solo sometimes but get spanked by Aldo and friends. However, it's no different for mid soloers facing the multiple amounts of stealth zergs from alb side either (worse with mincer involved, insta stun, etc ).

Anyway my post is to say if you do try to solo in stealth, first well done. Second if you get flattened a few times in a row (due to being outnumbered), try to resist joining a stealth zerg. It's not easy I know but believe me when you do get a few 1v1s it's all made worth it imo. Win or lose in a 1v1 it doesn't matter.

And to the stealth zergers, hey you pay your subs so you play like you want. Just remember when you attain that almighty high rr, we all know how you got there gimps.

well i think i only met you solo so you should have credit for that, and i solo prolly about the same amount as you altho sometimes (has happen 2-3 times) i join with another stealther but that usually lasts 1 or 2 runs before i get bored (i suck at duoing :/ ) had some fun fights with you but dont think i have beaten you yet

While I agree its harder to find solo fights its not impossible, last weekend at a friends house we soloed on Friday and Saturday, which is the days of most zerging usuay btw, and we got lots of solo fights.

i was in HW xp'ing my croc tear ring when along came this cheeky elf and started pulling at same camp as me

after i killed him he came back and killed my bot but i got kinda lucky and killed him again

Agree with dard though - what do people prove by adding on a 1-1 fight with a fg? Or even another solo'er adding - mostly i prefer to take my death and come back if its a good fight or someone i have a respect for (to all those about to post whines read the last few words before the brackets again) as a skilled player.

My only reloclection of you the 'new' Evita is seeing you constantly running towards Brefine, however your solo which is cool, but then dont spurt off about adding, Only fought you once, was in the bowl at the bottom of the hill which leads to Brefine, fighting a mincer, have him at 50% and then you add! still killed the mincer and gave you a /laugh

I dont mind people adding, I do mind people who say they dont add when they do though.

I was duo'ed with him at the time prehaps and took me a minute to get into the fight - in a duo you both fight - hence the word DUO Dont take my word for it - ask those ive killed/been killed by - what am i more often than not (aside from ugly before you say it).

You came running down unstealthed from amg, prolly going towards Brefine and the started fighting me, I doubt you were duoing since he was down at the hill opposite silo, and you were up at amg

I dont mind people adding since it will allways happen, especially in emain, but dont say that you dont do it

Three times the same day you added on me coming running at mach 5 as you saw me fighting some alb and used your DDs and stun on me as soon as you came in range to leech RPs, then proceeded to hit on me.

Dont talk about adding when you dont walk the walk m8, dont mind adders but I despise hypocrits (sp?).

EDIT: Dont say you duoed with them because there were 3 diff albs I fought those times, that would make one hell of a duo in that case

When you have two stealthers without see hidden both running stealthed how easy do you think it is to stay near each other? It mostly involves roaming vaguely nearby each other and coming when one gets a fight they cant handle alone.

Or walking over a full zerg of enemy stealth and desperately trying to escape as they hunt you down like a frightened and nerfed sb

It's soul destroying, I've found myself QQing on irc and whining here sometimes too, but just keep at it my fellow solo-ers.

Honestly 1v1's are not hard to find, I play mostly on Fridays and Saturdays (the most populated days) and still get loads of 1v1's, you just need to know where to look.

Amg/mmg are not where you will get them (usualy).

well actually lately I've had loads of 1v1s, it's been great. But there have been times when I've had none and thats not so great

I solo 100% all the time i get alot of good 1v1 fights aswell been going to HW alot had some good 1v1 fights there aswell. BIG UP Massive to all solo stealthers out there

Been doing a lot more RvR again recently, a lot of "solo" too (in quotes as I'm not entriely sure I can really consider buffbotted as solo )

Been a fair few fights out there but still have to play 'dodge the groupage'

Before anyone says it, yes I'll also duo, I'll trio or quad if friends are around for a short time, hell I even ended up in a non-stealth full group the other night - but the important thing is it's fun

I will, of course, add my to the soloers and duos (both stealth and otherwise) and a HUGE :worthy: to the SB who decided to risk a mezz-poison attack on our non-stealth group at HMGOdin only to find that at least 4 of us had purge timed in - /hug /salute

Yeah Solo can be the best fun in game. Sure ya may run out 3-4 times and get the sh1t kick out of ya, but then its times to find somewhere not so lively.
