Where's the best place to solo these days?

I've been trying to find some decent 1v1s on my Paladin all day, with no joy.

I did find a FGM at Occassus with a prick called TTM who thought it was amusing to shake his head no at me when his group wtfpwned me...skills guys.

Oh, and I found a nice stealther fucktard duo camping Bled beach, Poisionedarrow and some other strap on.

I even found a BD who spanked me silly.

No good 1v1 melee fights though.

1.5K in 3 hrs sucks monkey balls TBH.

One thing i'd say is, when poeple find out about solo spots, people will go camp/farm it. So this post will honestly not do you much help IMO.

Now and again it's nice in emain about DC W bridge, but sometime when to many their you will just get farmed.

Many will leave you alone though, but some don't care ofc ;D

Best not to go to close to the Bridge itself though ;D

When i'm out soloing on my zerker, i like to stay a bit further away from the bridges, just out of view from the bridgecampers that you will find in all 3 realms.
Hopefully some brave alb or hib will leave the bridgearea and come have a look.
If you do meet someone, you will often have a fight without adders as the campers can't see you from the bridge or the other soloers that might be there often wont add.
When i'm in mid i run around the dropoff - Bled t3- docks, but try and stay away from Brynja, hoping i will run into alb/hib soloers thinking like me.
I sometimes have a look in Pennine, but it's often empty. So are the bridges that goes to Agramon these days.

You'll often run into groups, duos, trios etc and get ganked though, but you'll get used to it.
I made about 40k soloing with my zerker yesterday, which isn't too bad for a class without speed or stealth. =)

Maby, but if you keep away from the Bridge itself and go there early or late it should be somewhat okay.

No guarantee anywhere though ofc.

I just run there myself as it aint so bad dying that close to you'r own keep ;D

Soloing as a stealther is hard work, soloing as a visible I think is insane :> But people have managed it, so go for it, but be prepared for a lot of pain
But there are some people out there who will give you a good fight.

yeh i agree with illu soloing as a visible past 1.82 for me was not worth it anymore.

I got about 850 solo kills, and after about 5 night in a row of making about 5k in 3 hours, i thought it's not worth it anymore, and decided to try find a duo patner. Atleast then if i get a few adds i ca handle it better than i could if i was on my own.

And as low RR i would find it preety much realy hard. As people don't genrally solo that muc it means your fighting 2-3 people at a time.......meaning in most cases unless their low rr you have to arti/ml/ra dump to have a chance.
And also as Paladin did you say? is it possible you can spec in warlord where you recieve some nice soloing tools.

And yeh again, i had an okay reputation for soloing pre 1.82, but after that, everyone rolled new alts, mainly casters, and it's just add add add. People tbh don't really care to roll over a soloer, it's more benficial in their eyes to add and recieve the bounty of rp's for that. So unless your up for maybe months of grueling soloing..........well then........all i can say is goodluck.

Thanks for the comments so far, they've been positive and I am happy with that.

I think, especially where a FGs concerned, that they could really give it some thought. I would much rather one of the tanks jumped out of their group, we had a 1v1 and the FG kill me after the fights over (if I am fortunate enough to have won). It's a very utopian view obviously, but at least that way I feel like I've had a fair chance, not just been mindlessly nuked to pieces.

Another irritating issue is your opponent being healed during a 1v1 - I usually sit when that happens because there's absolutely no point in carrying on.

I'm still searching for a nice 1v1 - I am determined to have one in the next hour before I log!

DC W bridge is the new brynja tbh.

Funny to see 1fg+ savants etc camping there with another fg mid/high RRs running around and ontop of that we have 4-6 stealthers adding away.

I still have lots of fun on my hero. And i roam emain a lot lately, if i cant find anything i go bled or around alb a bit. Die alot...but also win a lot. And the rush is great
But before rr 5 it was a pain sometimes tbh.
Just keep trying m8...as you progress you will find it gets easier and easier.

Not RvRed that much last week but DC bridge been fun, done alot of 1v1 even tho 10+ stealthers there all others just watchin, very nice.

At least you managed to find solo fights, I had exactly 2 that weren't added on today :/ There were plenty of stealthers out but none of them would attack 1v1, only interested in farming low RR casters. Then again its not usually this crap.

welcome to my world, though tbh it has got a lot better now, the more you are seen out solo the less chance full groups will run you over, so long as you try to avoid the really busy places, you can tell by the amount of death spam in a zone, you shouldnt have to much trouble, ofc you do still get adds but not quite so often.

Made 60-70k last week RvR'ing on solo vamp. I tend to go around Bled area and around Beno area but never actually on the bridges.

Still suck at vamp though - having alot of trouble when people use EM on me :<

Kinda agree with Brad tbh. Had a couple of good fights with him on my Warden around DC bridge but the amount of times I saw a gang of 4 or 5 piling into him I'm not surprised he's given up

It's something you just have to persevere with tbh, some nights you'll get massacred over and over by duo'ed rr10 stealthers/fg's/groups of 4 or 5 and wonder why you bother then you'll get that one decent 5-10 minute long (well I do solo with a Warden....) fight that makes you want more. Other nights you'll find somewhere quiet and have a pretty decent night. Just dont let the bad nights stop you trying..

I ran around solo in and around Agramon on my gimpy merc Wodewick for ~90 mins from about 5pm and got 1 solo fight and a few gankings. Then duo'd with guildie reaver and we got stun-nuked a couple of times.

Strong 90 minutes - 6 deaths - 0 rp's uke:

Just reactivated last weekend after a long break and it has sucked so far.

If anyone wants to solo my merc it's free rp's I don't mind if you let me get a few hits in - just can't stand the stun-nuke cack.

near the main keeps i guess, beno, crau and bled. i usually get about 5-6 fights in an evening if im lucky, mostly near crau.

it will suck horribly on a visual though.. the amount of rpwhoring going on at bridges is a bit of a joke. pala will kill so slow you have an entire realm stuck to you by the time you're even halfway. ;/
