Hehe, during the first week of ToA or so, when my Skald got to 50, I went to Emain to run around bit. It was stilll very quiet there.
I ran out of mpk and there comes Oto the Sorcerer. I mez him and then go hit, boom off goes Purge+MoC and lifetap eats me.
Well, I wanted revenge of course, so I ported back but I couldn't find him anywhere, and I looked for long time. Well, after some time I died at apk to funny Theurgist (which is another story:)) and then got back again, who do I find outside mpk? That's right, Oto the Sorcerer. Had small sensation of Deja Vu when I mezzed him because there came the Purge and MoC again.
After that, even my slow Troll Skald was able to make conclusions and back to Emain I went and started running around the zonewall in mpk valley. There I found Oto the Sorcerer sitting behind tree and his surprise must've been big when the rr5 or whatever thingy got ganked by my rr2 Skald :)

Well, that's my experience of the skill of Oto the Sorcerer. I'm sure he's done nice stuff too, and it's probably nice video, shame for download speed though so will be while until I can watch it :)

PS. Hope the video is showing something else besides MoC lifetapping :)

The vid has odd gfx bugs and the music isn't what I like.

Nice playing tho from oto, some newb mids there tho.

If the download is going slow, it's probably because my server is being chain-hit by people downloading it. Current upload is 630 kb/s to 7 connections.

Feel free to add a mirror to the video. :)

saw him doing laps of mpk solo, worst feeling ever for a hunter, solo caster running around...but the wall of infils stopping me ;(

u guys should reaaaally zip/rar/othercompressformat it... wouldn't only save bandwith, but would allow me to download it at the "workplace" (avi etc not allowed, zip is :( )

Yes, packing a file, that has already been packed = wize, not.


Usually it chops only a few megs down from say 700meg video file.

Zipping a 230ish meg file = much same when zipped (video file, which has been compressed already [using divx/xvid etc])

just rename it to .zip when downloading and change back to .avi when downloaded :D

just downloaded and it wont play in divx or windows media, im prolly being a retard, but what codec do i need? :|

I've watched the movie and it shows to me 1 thing we've always said to eachother in /gu and /as. Albs rule Emain Macha on Prydwen. This would be nearly impossible to do for an Enchanter or any other Hib/Mid.

Just look at the 'Amnesia for the win'-part. While this is really Arraudry for teh win. Any Mid/Hib would have gotten atleast 3 scouts and 6 mincer/infils on his ass. An Alb has no serious fear about this: Emain is crowded with Albs especially at common choke-points. i would never fight near a MG as a solo caster; but seems Albs can do it :wub:

Nice movie overall; shows what a good sorc is capable off and also shows a sorc with group-spec can still kill just takes alot of mana / time :)

I dunno if its my PC but the video-quality was really bad here; lots of times letters just smudge into noise and stuff :(

I downloaded and watched it now :)
I had weird problems viewing it too, it was much distorted and all.. Maybe it uses newer codec or something.

I expected another of those boring movies where some buffed guy "soloes" people but was happy to notice he was actually most of time unbuffed :)
Not much of a solo movie anyway if you got buffbot :)

Looked okay to me, can't know of course how many videos got cut out where he got ran over by FG gankgroup of Mids or Hibs but it looked bit as Puppethealer said. Then again, if it was mostly shot after ToA, that'd explain it. I know it wasn't really possible to go in Emain with group of 2-4, as we like our RvR, before ToA.

Not bad for solo, it's not all joy. I used to do that alot with my Dark SM. Mez wasn't of course anything like the Sorcerer's but then again my lifetap was better (silly they get level 50 lifetap with increased damage now though, as we get level 47 from spec and it's only thing we get:)).
And MoC ain't autowin and as easy as it might look like. My SM never had this when I was Dark but back then Buffbots weren't all that common and I was doing okay against stealthers without MoC. These days when the stealthers hit you to 10-30% HP from one hit and next follows instantly after, even MoC + lifetap can fail often (stun messes up one casting, you might not get 2nd change even if you purge because you die so fast).

Song1: It's the second part of Beauty and the Beast (Live) by Nightwish (not to be confused with beauty OF the beast by the same band)

Song2: Having a Blast - Greenday

Song3: The kids are alright - Offspring

Song4: All I want - Offspring

Song5: Over the Hills and Far Away - Nightwish

Correct me if I'm wrong on the Offspring or Greenday tracks as I'm not their biggest fan.. I'd know the nightwish tracks anywhere though and would have probably used OTHaFA on ym own movie if I ever made one :).
