(Solo)Scout Video

Hiya all

I respecced my scout about a week ago and have made my first RvR video from the fights I've had.

Its got a bit of archery, a bit of melee. Its not so much me owning everything, but more the interesting fights, where I've taken on shield tanks, assassins or others.

I did till RR5 I was also RR3 before I was 50 however since I was given a bot I've run botted, makes it easier in the 2 on 1's

You really need to get a buffbot with more than 35 enhance, and a better computer, as you have yellow FPS constantly

Bot has 39 enhance at the moment, I intend to respec him to get yellow spec dex, but I use him alot for farming in DF with my paladin, so the rejuv helps.

As for the computer, thats mainly fraps, with my old graphics card (geeforce mmx 440) I could run fraps with little or no slowdown, but with my new one (radeon 9600/256) It slows down alot. When I ran with catacombs / fraps it was even worse than that ^^

Besides, I've never been a leecher or an adder, atleast not in clear 1 on 1's or 1fg's vs 1fg's. But you think what you want.

This thread is about a video made from only 1 week or rvr, surely to get enough video to make 10-15 mins I need to be running solo alot? Not once in this video do you see another alb, unless ofcourse you want to count my bot at the beginning, or the video behind the credits.

Ahh, that was a nice fight, had to put it in, was going to put it at the end of the video proper, but It seemed to go more at the end of the credits.

I was thinking about putting credits for the video behind the credits, but then I'd be taking up more time for credits than for the actual video

- You can manage to kill unbuffed people.

He puts effort into adding and leeching aswell, I'll not stop whining, if he releases a video and makes a thread about it he can expect feedback. My feedback is that he plays like every other scout in the game, shite. If that's all the good footage he can get from a week's rvr then that will be because the majority of the time hes camping the bridge with mrmagoo and co.

- Yea, I get outstrafed a fair bit, so I believe in old fashioned fighting rather than dancing around like a ponce using lag to dodge hits, sue me.
- weather thier rs or not, it was a clean 1 shot.

The videos supposed to be a few fights in my first week after respeccing, the one shot was just showing that I DO snipe a bit as well as melee alot.

Maybe, just maybe, if you pulled your head out of your backside and stopped flaming you'd see that I said in the first post:

You beat the rr2/3 shield tanks yes, but they are still rr2/3 shield tanks. The fights weren't interesting and the remark about strafing was supposed to mean you dont face fast enough.

The only interesting fight was the one where I was willing the warlock to 1 shot you.

Thing is i aint no coward, i dont run if any char gets in melee range, i actively hunt stealthers. So dont go spamming your attack from 10000000000 units away and then stealth again, then hide in a bridge nonsense, come and fight.

I've been making the video more than I've been playing this week, the footage in the video shows somthing like a third of the fights I've had.

When your scout dings RR5, come talk to me about playing shit, untill then I class your feedback as baised to the point of being rhetoric, you hate me because of my class and my realm, had you of given feedback that was in any way constructive then I'd have respected you for it.

I have a feeling if you stick with your scout you will be come good. You are fighting some extremly poor characters in this vid though (that kobby tank that ran is the biggest gimp ever)

my only advice. Loose traitors. and respec to 42 shield. You do not need 47 bow. If I was as scout how could u afford to not use malice? (or at least malice in 2h and pipe hitting leggy in main)

I don't hate you because of you realm nor your class. I dislike you because of your style of RvR, leeching at bridges and adding on fights, you've done it to me several times and the fact that you lie about in on this forum, possibly to retain some epeen just makes it worse, really. There are many scouts/sorcs and other overpowered classes that I respect and like.

I don't need to be a scout to know how shit that play was. There was 1 decent realm rank in that video and that's Loneliness, no offence to him but even SH make jokes on ventrilo about how shit he is iirc.

I used to be 42 shield, untill RR4, since then I've gone off of slam bigtime, prefer to have weaponspec high.

As for traitors, thats only a stand in untill I can lay my hands on lgw's and maybe malice, the good thing about traitors is that once its in a SC template, you can swap it for any other weapon with ease.

I agree that some of the fights wheren't great, I was talking to a mate on msn about it earlier, I wanted to get the video done in the first week after I respecced, but the problem with that is the fact that finding and frapping good fights takes time. The only ones I was really happy about was the two hunters and the RR6 NS. the other fights where padding in a way, but are different to the normal sniping casters that most scouts will go in for.

I agree with majii that I dont face fast enough though, and I really do need to get some lessons on how to get FZ to hit
