Good idea Ardd, listen Ill be 100% honest and say that there are people in this thread that have added on me UND SHIT over the times but for this one day I wont be going ''oh theres KIllErOfWorlds Ill get him now hrhr'' .

I had another small though of getting Statued or Determine to do a FG agramon at the same time and maybe we could find a spot in agramon to duel while we have the likes of Groove RR LA MAEL TT BF etc ( the usual fg suspects ! ) fighting around us and hopefully we can get them to offer us some protection . The only downside to that is that some of those gg tanks would like to be a part of this duelling day.

If someone turns up who generally adds us into next week, and tries their hand at solo I would implore people not to rush over and kill them as thats probably the reason they add in the first place .

Anyway ..enjoying the feedback , any more ideas are always welcomed . My main problem at the moment is how to announce the time it will commence at and the place .

I could do it over the boards but then we are at risk but as we all know , people WILL find out anyway so at the moment I think it could just be a thread like

Generally it is more respectful for stealthers to duel out of stealth but Im sure a lot of people will not do this as they are specced for assination combat so thats no problem but Ill leave that to your own discretion.

Also , some people might frown at certain tactics . Some people might abuse grapple immunity and thane or vw your arse and thats just part of play so if it happens and you dont like it , then just duel another partner .. hopefully you will have dozens to choose from !

Im looking into a possible area that we can bring buffbots but I really do not think its worth it .

Also , I must inform you that most duels will be to the death . There are a lot of soloers out there such as myself that are new to the tank v tank scene and Im in need of realm points so for the few fights that I do win on my low rr vw I would love the rps as they seem impossible to get in other conditions . If you choose to leave an apponent on 5% hp that is no problem but its not in stone that the same should be showed to you so please dont be in any way resentful if it does

Let me give u a pair of hints (since i had the original idea of the solo zone and spoke to some GMs about it while it lasted); forget about buffbots for rezzing, bbs there = rp farming = GMs spawn guards and hand out bans.
Also if u want it to work and don't leave out lower rrs, declare clear rules of engagement.
That's it, over and out, had my headaches trying to make this thing work so gl to u

ps: i think agramon is a bad idea... can't goa just emerge a narrowed/corridor like piece of land from megalodon's poo , big enough for solo, but tight enough for fg vs fg action ?

Again , there are no rules . Rules can not be inforced and its not my place to inforce them . You all pay to play so do whatever you want lol . But if you want to try and stick close to a few guidelines it would make it more enjoyable and more importantly a success , in which case we can do it again in a few weeks time .

The stealther thing AGAIN is at your own discression , ( my spelling isnt very good Im sorry ) I duel with my nightshade out of stealth however it wouldnt bother me if I duel a stealther who goes for PA chain . So I actually withdraw what I said earlier , if you chose to do it that way thats nps !

Gahn I know you tried hard at the last one and had a lot of grief during it so you would have more experience with regards to what happened last time so if you have any tips or even if you dont want to get involved but could offer help from the sidelines just drop me a pm .

It doesnt all have to be /bow beckon , if you want random theres a guy Ill go Thwak him then go for it ! However, remember people are watching you . Very easy to get a reputation there fast . You could be watching one of the many fights and a shadowblade jumps you and lands his or her full pa chain on you because that person saw you rush another earlier . So its going to be fun and based on however YOU decide to play on the day .

Good initiative, have been waiting for this. While some fights got very unspontaneous and uninteresting in last solo-zone attempt I've got to say there was some really nice moments.

The idea of having those solo nights not so often sounds very good. Once/week or every other week should be good, switch days also.

Its annoying that Raven and a few others cant show up on Saturday as they were soloing while we were sucking on our groups proverbial tit But if it works Ill mix it around , and if it doesnt work ..Ill do it again until it does If I get 10 solo fights that day, its a success for me .

i think if this could be done in a similar way to the fg agramon nights, where they roam till they fight, and dont participate in a world cup style line up and handshake b4 the action begins it could be fantastic, having alot of like minded soloers, or even people that have perviously shunned/not tried the style of play, roaming around in a slightly less artificial manner than the /bow /dump /waitfortimers, it could become a highlight of the week for many people.
i for one cant wait to get pwnt all day by better players

Just don't make it into a duel tournament. Best is to declare a zone and leave it at that.
If i see that i can get the jump on someone, i don't always want to stop and /beckon and /bow before the fight.
People have to move around and don't stop to watch others fight. If this turns into a duel circle, the GMs will put a stop to it by spawning guards or whatever that will whipe us out.
When i want to duel someone, all i have to do is go to Emain.

It's nice if people wont jump others that have just fought and at less than half health though.
Other than that, act like you would normally do and use whatever tools you like.

Btw, if i see a hidden buffbot, i'll kill it.

you need a mobile solution one you can change because all you have to do is make the lazy asses get lazy and go back to bridge and tower humping. Its what they know best. Getting them to run in areas that they might get too far away from that comfort zone will eventually wear and they will revert to type.

So generate the space not Agramon - it takes too long to get there and has choke points including towers and bridges. Remember the average mass RvR person feels lonely without one of those so keep away from them and people will roam. Above all else try to promote flexibility and if people do come and interfere be polite and let them know your trying to run an event and would like them to respect that. Its all about being polite - enable your chat log and if they tell you to fuck off - post the log here but never abuse anyone for not 'respecting' any of the rules you invent for yourself - after all they are not party to those rules. You do need to be able to change the zone fast - I already posted best candidate zones mostly because I have been there and seen nothing for hours on end....

Another option is if it is a one off only have a sign up event for each realm on these forums each list ran by someone you trust. Start a chat group for those who have signed up in each realm and communicate through personal messages on IRC. Any character that is in a CG that is not moving around or is just reading the chat remove. If your determined to do it and if it is only a one off these are things you can think about.

I have to say though I can't make the date your suggesting and I really dislike duels - mostly because my Shade needs all the luck he can get (teh gimp). It needs to be a roaming thing there is nothing more boring than hours of endless duels - we need movement and a bit of an edge.

Cous duels are wait for timers and the low rr cant do shit to a higer rr whit all his toys up.
So it will be /use to win not even 1% of skill

And if some ppl do /bow/bec and so on, and i jump one of em whit out doing /bow/bec. He and hes m8s whil only zerg me next time cous i dident /bow/bec him befor i attackt even thought you say that we can choose our own play style.

i'll trot along with some diferant toons... .got a low rr savage and thane to come play with... trouble is if people find that they are getting ganked by high rr's champs/vamps/mercs/reavers that r easier to solo with they wont come back....be nice to see some of the high rr's giv the lil guy a bit of a chance.. its also nice to watch some of the duels... was some duels going on at bled yesterday was several people watching.. dont think anyone managed to kill theodan.....
