Even though I have seen lately savages tearing apart tanks and paladins before going for clerics i agre. SB might not be as good as we would like it, but it is group ability and with BOF it surely rocks. As for PF, i find it a waste on a 2h or pole arms. He will hit so slow to be useful...:(

Shame its so darned expensive. One thing that would benefit the Armsman class is this RA made a leetle cheaper.

Yes, it wouldnt be good for anyone trying to slay us, but, I'd like to afford it and become more RvR viable.

1 s/s arms
2 clerics
1 mins
1 pala
1 sorc

Would be a damn good group in my view if both mercs have det 5 and pf, don't say it's not enough damage because that's bollocks and with 2xguard this group would do VERY good vs savage groups unless of course the healers have all purged.

Soldier's barricade seems to do it's job when it's been used in my groups.

Also s/s arms could be in a pbaoe group but how many albs actually try those?8]]]

Pala is good enough for guard tbh, you don't _have_ to win the fights with 0 deaths : | and you usually already do with a pala guarding

Good grp setup for hibs is 4bm 2druid warden bard, because it's 4 dualwielders and anything dies in like 3sec, don't even need guard X_x

Oh? I got IP and it's really handy even in grp RvR.

PS.: You forget all about PBAOE grps.

Its a nice set-up but i think then it would be optimal to have a 2-hand thrust Paladin as pure assister. You only need 1 guard, and tanks need that endurance.

yeah, it rocks to be targeted first and be assist nuked to hell.
