soldering irons and fine/thin tips

anyone know where you can buy extremely fine soldering tips? ive tried looking at maplins but the ones they have arnt as fine as id like em to be

i want it me self for is for the solder points for spare 3 pin fan mount on a x360 mobo i have

cept the holes have solder right in the holes and its a pain in the arse for my normal soldering iron to remove. i want it to hadd another fan for the mobo and stick in slim case i have. peeps on xbs forums have stated drilling it as last resort but thats not somat i wana risk

my bro needs it for some ds customistaion he is trying to do

Ill keep note of that site, always after soldering kit. Prefer using desoldering braid over the "suckers" though, seems to work a little better.

But dont you just REALLY FUCKING HATE companies that have NO FUCKING IDEA that the internet is 24/7 and shut off their entire website saying they re-open on the 4th of Jan?

Be careful not to remove the track from the board by overheating it. Once that happens you'll have to start hard wiring things. Messy.

Try either braid or a sucker. Sucker would probably be best on this, braid would have difficulty removing it all.

I wouldn't drill it for the same reasons. If the solder won't come out, then connect your fan using individual wires. Melt more solder on each hole until its a big blob of melt, and poke each wire through quickly. Then solder whatever you have to the end of those 3 wires.
