Ooh, this was good - really really enjoyed it. Clooney wasn't too bad as the main geezer (then again it was a moody, brooding character - so a walk in the park for him). Music throughout the film was fantastic.

The whole thing was very Kubrick though, I don't know whether it was actually intended to be an homage to the late Stan or what.

I agree. Bombed in the US as they sold it as an action film would you believe???

I thought it was as good an update as you can get and it certainly felt like Kubrick. One of the few films this year that was thought provoking. Similar feel to Donnie Darko in that respect. Loved it.
