.. forget that originally in the retail assassin classes were only meant to kill Casters/Support and never were meant to be able to stand up against ie Pure tank.

Maybe they forgot that those classes most of the time run in fg's. Sure the solo assasin could just attack the caster/surport char in the middle of the group , and one shoot him/her whilst remaining stealthed......Ahh I guesse he cant.....

From a commercial point of view balance = death in the assasin question so I doubt there's any nerfs inc.

there are still unbuffed assassins like me, and we have no chance again a tank

heck, my pa on a tank usually does less dmg than their attacks on me, and i have cs 50 + 14

Was even worse in the old days when an assasin PA'd you and one-shotted you he would stay stealthed easy pickings

I also would have thought if you can survive the first few rounds of attack, anyone with End regen would win.

Yes - I miss the little rascal too - only once did I have the pleasure of roaming with him .. though I feel it was more for the "look theres a blade with crap stealth - Lets go PA him" (Me - level 30odd) and then he'd strike
