I really liked the film. I must admit, about 10mins into it I was thinking "This is the weirdest film I've ever seen" but then you need to remember its Indiana Jones, and the films are never about realism or decent scripts but about treasure hunting, booby traps, the token female, naked indians and the general dust up with ever member of a given dictator army.

It's not a film that will win awards, but its not a waste of time either =) TBH, the best thing about the film is the "punch in the face" sound effect - its the real classic!

main things that just stuck out as being overly retarded for an Indiana Jones movie
1. Surviving a nuclear explosion by being in a fridge just is just idiotic.
Say for just one minute that the explosion initially doesn't kill him, and that the radiation doesn't kill him/ instantly decays after the explosion.... how the hell does he survive the tumbling about/the fall.
2. Aliens.....
3. The Giant Bull Ant colony
4. probably a few more million things that happenned after i left

Basically it seemed like a Scientologists wet dream, and we should all buy 3" lead lined american style fridges

Basically if you've seen "shoot'em up" this isn't far off the stupidity, but it tries to do it seriously....

I kinda felt like he's realised he hasn't made a good movie since E.T. so he's going to try to add a similar ending into every one of his future movies so it might be comparible
