I am currently running a BFG 8800 GTS OC 320MB DDR3 DVI PCI-E Graphics Card and its just beginning to strain a little so I would like to upgrade. I am quite keen to give vista 64 a go for some DX10 loveliness on my 1 player games when I move and have no internet for a while. I have 4 gig of ram ready too.

I reckon I could stretch to £200 and I would like to know my options.

Do i save myself a packet and buy a 2nd hand card like mine from ebay and run it SLI or do I buy a whole new card? If so which is the king of the mid ranges atm? Would rather go with Nvidia tbh.

MSI GeForce 8800GTS 512mb OC would be a VERY solid bet, sadly I don't have test results from any non-Swedish source, but I can dig up the performance tests sweclockers did if you are intrested, the BFG9800GTX is also a very good choice, you might also want to stick around until the new nVidia cards are out later this month and see how much the 9800GX2 card drops in price, I'd say these 3 are your big options, the old 8800GTS cards really aren't worth putting into SLI unless you can get one very, very cheap.

As per my last post on Buy of the Day, grab a pair of 8800GT's (£190).
Sell your GTS to make up some of the cash. (This is assuming you've an SLI capable motherboard, of course)

Or hold fire until the release of the new 9800GTX+ for a similar price.
