So mid given up DF?

Tis come to my attention that Mid hasn't cared too much about DF lately? Is it due to we loosing the relics and there's "nothing" to defend?

What comes to mind is mids/hibs "flaming" albs for not defending their keeps a while back. Well tides turn and now we're doing just like they were in the very same situation? Kind of odd imo :/

So has Mid taken down the 'We own DF banner?'

1 reason that we had df so often was that albs didnt retake their keeps, now with relics they do

But well that shouldn't affect the Mid spirit of trying? Just surprised as I didn't think Mid would be this passive once we lost some relics. This is precisely the way Alb played when they didn't have any relics, and we sort of looked down on them for being lazy not defending. :/

I think most Mid's are probably taking advantage of the fact that we have squat in our realm worth defending atm. Though people do generally get arround to retaking keeps i don't think anyones really felt an over-whelming urge to rush to keep defense/offense.


Then again, maybe most of Mid is feeling depressed and broken since we lost the relics? Give those mids a few weeks to lick their wounds and come back stlonger than every.

We'l be back Albion, but not before we've had some R&R

fyi after we lost relics we invaded albion every day for hours, and we still do afaik but numbers has decreased and its not easy to take alb keeps when they come defend with their numbers

and now when housing is out everyone want df for farming, so df will go pingpong few days maybe weeks i guess

The people that care most about the keeps care the least about DF and the peeps that care the most about DF care the least about the keeps.

I lost count the number of times I begged the 161 players in DF to come out of DF and help defend our keeps where plats & plats worth of doors were being demolished while each DFer earned their 20 gold.

I also find it remarkable that a bunch of hard core keep takers scream and yell on /as for numbers so they can get enough peeps to actually take a keep ... only to find no one turning up, and a queue forming outside DF.....

Those that do turn up, don't bring a ram, can't be arsed to learn to use a ram, turn up with a level 37 alt (so thay can get a few RP's for FA2) or do something stupid to ruin the raid....

Those in DF "never" helped the realms efforts in defending or taking keeps, this was so guaranteed that the White Rose Alliance would not even try to take enemy keeps if we had DF, we knew full well we wouldn’t be able to get peeps out of there.

If Mid chose to take 2 keeps and after the first DF was gained, half the keep raid force would suicide to get their precious seals, this would mean there wouldn’t be enough peeps to defend the first keep and the second keep raid would fail.

Midgards love for DF has made Midgard complacent with regard to its own frontier.

Well 1 other simpel reson for mid's not having DF much resently is also the sudden massive invasion from both hib's and alb's into the midgard frontier. maby it was/is all the unclaimed keeps we had after alb ninja RR and both alb and hib found it almost as a invite to get DF.
Midgard has ruled DF since day 1, so it is written and so it shall be.

Im quite sure that there's enough DF junkies to take back the keeps aswell as grab one or two from albs.

I for one doesnt really care about Df, and i think it's laughable when people starts to whine on /as about "the emain whores farming RP's" when they wanna go keeptake, but as soon as DF is midgards, they disappear faster than a paycheck down to their little seal-mine and start hitting mobs.

And for the stuff about mid whining about albs not defending their keeps...how many mids whined? About 10 or so? Thats a pretty small percentage if u consider midgard prolly has 3-4 thousand players all in all.

Defendin the realm doesnt mean anything to me since we dont have anything to defend atm. And i sure as hell dont want to put up with someone whining on /as about DF so he can fill his pockets. I like it in emain, and i dont want to give hibs truckloads of RP's by charging a keep when they got 30 overpowered enchanters in it racking up the realmpoints.

Give us a relic or two and i'll gladly chip in on defending the realm tho. But im no roleplayer and taking back a big stonecastle while no relics are in our posession doesnt float my boat.

Disclaimer: The stuff about whiny people in AS is in no way directed to anyone in this thread, it was just something that happened a week or so in the WR /as a late nite when some dude wanted DF and started to whine on Mids being in Emain.

Don't you guys worry about getting the relics back or the realm spirit, over all I think it's very good We haven't had the time to sit back and relax for a very long time, just need another week or so two before we're back in business like always.
