How many hibs have left, what hib rvr guilds are alive. just 80% of these leaving posts are hib, and they are everywhere. is loss of gp that bad?

there is LOTS of FG rvr from what ive seen in NF. the problem is tho. is there there is also a lot of zergs.. and because NF is HUGE!! unless there does become an established zone for FGG's to run. it will be pretty tough to find them..


but when i been running solo i have been steam rolled LOADS of times by FG's that have been roaming zones.


unless the hibs quitting look for flames on the map and think!! woooho FG fight. lets go! ..

they get there. meet the zerg. get pwnd cos they can no longer farm multiple newb grps (by that i mean they cant pwn as many as they once could pre-nf) they /quit n leave game

To be fair, solo I tend to get steam rolled by full groups rather than zergs.

Use the map and you can work out where to roam for effective FG fights.

most the people i know who are quitting played the US open beta for WoW and just decided it's something new and fun... time for a change of scenery.
i doubt loss of GP is a major factor.

SR have never been the biggest of RvR guilds, but we have been active longer than most guilds.

SR fielded at least 1fg (sometimes 2-3) rvr since release plus a lot of good stealthers over the years (Deito, Deity, Lenilias, Kwo, Autokarma, Luxia to name a few).

Except for a few players, we are essentially now RvR inactive thanks to a combination of NF and WoW....origionally Memento Mori, disbanded and reformed as Soul Reavers, we are one of the oldest remaining guilds on the server.

I've been bored of daoc for ages tried wow OB and now i cba comming back wow is so much better in every way imo + it's something new...

Oh btw for the ones saying that hibs quit cuz there is no radar go check the radar development boards.. Many ppl have confirmed that it works perfectly in NF and it can't be detected.

Yes i does suck but honestly who did ever expect goa to put some work into that anit-cheat thing when they can't even fix some of the most simple problems.

its when you transition from finding the game play "Blood Vessel burstingly frustrating", to just an empty of feeling of "this suxs" that most leave.

NF seems to have caused this transition for quite a few. Tbh RVR atm isnt giving me much enjoyment. who knows though, I tend to just ease off playing untill the urge comes back.

And for those who might care, I had quit already over 2 years ago, the novelty of ToA and the desire to play a game with my friends once more brougth me back. But crap is still crap, no matter how many layers of stuff they keep putting on top of it.

Thank god there finally is an alternative.

If you're getting steamrollered all the time, it's your own fault: look on the realmwar map, and go somewhere there isn't a huge blue/red crossed swords and you'd be fine.

So some intensive play during the truely flawed toa patch, may have been over 5mins /play in game but think u have missed out on some of the other stuff in the 2 year period, hummm?

People quit for different reason, some quit as the game is no longer fun, some quit because the people they used to play RvR with have left, some quit because they hate to lose and some just because they are bored senseless.

All are valid reasons, but to blame the mass excodus on a nerf of animist pets is truly just flame bait
