So, I got into the EQ2 beta.

Downloading client now, I'll let ya'll know what it's like.

Stress test of WoW is almost finished now and I gotta say the last week playing it has been awesome. I think it's the coolest mmorpg I have played that I have instantly liked the first few hours I've played. Can't say anything about the end-game or RvR/PvP since I've only killed a few humans and elves.

Sorry, stopped liking Blizzard after Starcraft/Diablo. Maybe someday in the future they might be able to make a good game again, it wont be WoW, and definatly not Ghost, but...one day, maybe

Yeah, I'm getting fuck-all speed too. Think it has to do something with the fact that they recently updated the client and that 5k+ people are trying to download it now. Some SOE dude said they were working on it though (They seem pretty fast when resolving issues).

It's more like 3.11gb.. Got to play it some yesterday and I gotta say it's really different then WoW. Can't really say anything yet as I only played it for an hour or two and the NDA is in effect still. But, very very different from WoW.

It's very different indeed. The graphics are not what I'm used to in a mmorpg

Lots of lag in the newbie zone tho....

Only played for 30 minutes so far (damn college ) but it didnt disappoint me so far. Graphics are good enough for me and hearing all the npc's speak is really amazing, major improvement over daoc and the other current mmorpgs. Loading takes kinda long though, hope they can improve it a bit before release. Looking forward to playing some more the next weeks.
