Crazy action really, have yet to explore the fg scene though as we're all very low realm rank and need MLs but seems promising. I'd dare to say that the groups over there are a bit better than many of the avalon grps, though they still moc on inc and cry their eyes out if you strafe
8vs8 16-03 cet, old-school Dyvet style of no-adding in Agramon etc between respected players and groups, so even 'real' pugs dont add on each other outside 8vs8 zone. Usually there's some pugs running in the afternoon, from 16 to 19, not adding on each other and being respectful etc. 8vs8 zone has 5-12 groups on a daily basis, which is active from 20 cet to 23 cet, then some players log and pugs get formed, that go to Agramon and continue 8vs8 until like 2 cet. It's goddamn perfect for me personally atleast, 8vs8 around the damn clock
Obviously there's the noobs who add on everything but the respect between the 8vs8 players, in pugs or not, is what makes this cluster golden to me. The pug scene is more alive than it ever was on Dyvet and that imo says a lot, haven't had this much fun in DAoC, like, almost ever
Well we (pretty pink pwnies) have been playing temair for about 4 months now. It started off great but overall i would say it is only slightly better than Avalon, some nights it is just zergtastic like Avalon but some nights it's how Eleasias describes it. FG zone is quite active but theres a couple of stupidly hard groups that for us are almost impossible to kill.
The style of groups are different to, tends to be alot of caster orientated groups...especially on the alb side and yes they do kite! I dont speak German but from the amount of /rude spam i get for strafing suggests they dont like this to much either
we rolled alb there and that did not work out that great, mostly alb grps in 8vs8 zone from what i experienced, but then again we werent there much as we never got bg on the pally and such things. The pve grind kinda killed us there, so we are back on hib limors now.
Still play my inf there wich is hilarious (bit less with the archer zergs now tho), but quite nice 1vs1 community there from my pov. Just has to watch out for the Mardraum pugs with frs f8 shearing anything that pop in range
