yeah, WV's are really cool, kill blue-yellow cons solo like a mage before they even get to you and if they do you can easily kill them in 1 or 2 blows with the scythe

Tho you take very much damage in groups when killing higher cons, not good. We'll see for rvr later

hmm ur machine slows down?

I havent witnessed any slow down at all in the new area and i witenessed large scalre rvr last night and no slow down at all

Hmm i have a GF3 and a 1.8Ghz Pentium 4 with 512MB RIMM and i really dont know whats wrong......traying to get the newwst drivers for my gfx card - maybe thatll help

I heard that all the goodies gfx wise would perform at best on the GF4 and that it would be worse on gf3...

I have gf3 and the reflective water looks sh*t, the reflections are all wrong and just don't look good. Sometimes a whole sea becomes green or all the reflections goes away. Specially when riding.

I wouldn't go quite that far but I too have been sort of disappointed by the water effects on my GF3 Ti200. If you walk up to the water and then stop and look at it, it looks magnificent. But if you're passing by water it is constantly recalculating the reflection and changing things around so huge patches blink on and off - and it's worse if you're moving at bard speed or riding a horse.

I was thinking of trying updated drivers but I'm leery of messing with that stuff when the game is pretty stable in all other respects. I might just switch 'em off.

Get the side 6 sec stun style and 2 VW working together should have no probs getting health and chain pulling

Level 14 now, the perils and running/joining a grp at parth farm begins lol

Tip: can all hibs learn to flag looking for a grp/member, it would really help a lot you know

word of unfortunate warning, heard SI responds suprisingly BADLY to newer cards :/ seems silly to me to release a game that works well on slightly older cards and harshly on the newer ones. Hear geforce 2 is gr8 but geforce 4 isnt nearly as hot as it should be.

Apparently been complaints ever since SI came out in america about it

Don't fear tho, no gfx cards have proven fatal with it which I guess is some sort of a good sign btw, if you are getting bad performance, try turning off the water effect and i hear turning off complex shadowing speeds it up considerably

o heck, what am I saying, I'm an alb....TURN IT ALL ON AND TAKE ON PURPLES SOLO!!!!! we albs want to see you lvl badly.....i mean well (hibs only, not albs)

Excelent m8 im lvl 13 now but not got much time to play it coz im moving house

Was a brilliant group and i hope to do it again some time

about the gf2/gf4 'anomoly'.

if you go by these forums, most of the gf2 users who havent upgraded will be pleasantly surprised by the gfx that is fine for them. the gf4 users however generally have the uber systems and expect SI to be unfailingly brilliant will be slightly let down simply because SI really isn't 'that' impressive.

just remember these things are very subjective. a gf2 user with a 17" LCD monitor will have a better experience than a gf4 user with a regular 15" CRT.

Got my VW to 30 , was taking orange con alps and pooks , alps disease is a pain . Anyway , while there I decided to take a couple of red con pooks and survived , different story if they resisted a bit more . But I got away with it
