Well the scout TL is thrilled about the change aswell apparently

I used to play with a few of the TLs on Gaheris a while ago and frankly most of the ones I met were dribbling retards who would be thrilled at being told a story about Kittens' First Birthday. I don't know who the Scout TL is so I may be being a little unfair on him but he's not in very exalted company. There were definitely correlations between certain weak classes and particularly clueless TLs. It may be that no-one else wanted the job for the unpopular classes or there may have been a causal effect going on. I really can't say. The TL who held up a raid so that he could appeal a bug with his 50 Paladin (he wasn't the pally TL luckily) particularly stands out. His heal chant wasn't healing him between combat and he insisted it always had before. 20 minutes we stood there waiting for a CSR to laugh at him.

1. general decrease of anti stealth measures (remove stealth guards)
2. Overhaul crit styles (increase BS/PA removes ignores brittles and/or resists/af)
3. uptunes+balances the stealher community at large.

Its bloody stupid at moment, get nuked 5 times trying to close the distance, and between 3 brittle guards and blade turn it takes me 5 hits before I can even start to do any damage back, by which time i've probably already wasted IP if im even still alive with heavy tank HP's.

Maybe they'll add a new style "Kagato's Fury" which can probably penetrate any amount of brittles since you hit bloody hard enough to do it

If nimblejack (the scout TL) is happy about it, then it might be that something in the Scout TL report was similar to that of something in the NS TL report, and has been agree'd apon.

Having looked over a draft of the scout TL report I cant see much that would be good for both nightshades and scouts, excepting perhaps some sort of caster nerf, possibly involving brittle guards.

I'd love it if mythic changed brittle guards so that critshot and/or trueshot, as well as critical strike styles went through them, I think it would be a big step in the right direction for stealthers, admittedly it will still be nasty for non-stealther solo melee classes, but I still think it would help alot.

If I remember right he has something like 300+ days played on his main scout, which is RR11, as well as having a second scout which is RR4.

So far he has put a lot of effort into testing, and has kept the community well informed of any progress made, not just for scouts but archers in general.

I'm not flaming and I'm trying not to be a fanboi here, but so far I'd say nimblejack is just about everything we could hope for as a scout TL.

But he certainly has made more of an effort to seek out scout opinions and test issues relveant to them than the last TL did for the last 6 months of his position.

If he could somehow break Vilna's fingers and stop him from posting his one sided crap I'd give him a medal

who or what TL is of a class doesn't make a difference at all.
The pervious scout TLs always had decent reports but always got a "nocare" ,"we will look into it" comment from Mythic on everything he said sugested or prooved with stats/tests.

imo class boost is something which arrives in a cyclus. each class gets his boost after x patches.
