My mates have a complete child living with them atm.

He acts like a spoiled brat, always sulks and whinges when things don't go in favour of him, such as the other week, mates 21st birthday party, we're all strapped for cash and have enough to get down to his + buy some beers, unfortunately, he hasn't got a penny and by the looks, isn't prepared to get a job either.

His response was to give us a sulky look and says "Well what am I supposed to do?" our response was "Well....?".

I meant cool in respect to his social life, this tells me that he does not have problems getting on with random people.

If this guy does not like people because they talk on the phone or eat food he considers to be disgusting he will die without any friends. You put across some absolute classics as examples by the way. If these were the cause its even more childish.

Yeah, some classics, but things that might piss people off. And if it was your mate, you'd agree with the "annoyance".

If someone(sparx as an example) was here complaining about how their mate is cooking some weird crap that's making the whole apartment smell like catpiss, we'd "all" be here saying "Tell him to eat his catpiss outside!" or "Killz him!"...right?! Thought so.

All i'm saying is that no matter how f'cking "cool" you are, in respect to anything, you're still gonna have personality clashes and by the sounds of Sparxs post, this sounds exactly like one.

We were best mates, were in the Army together, same section, everything.

Over time tho i just noticed more and more, rather than it being an equal friendship he was constantly talking down to me, treating me like less of a person. The final straw for me was over a toothbrush! he took my toothbrush and said it was his, i know full well 100% it was mine i remember watching the ad and going right out to get it. So he then called me a liar and a theif.

The biggest hypocrite i know.

If you don't get along with someone, don't expect them to get along with you. And just because he's an "internet buddy", desn't mean Sparx is immune.

To be honest, it just sounds more and mroe like you two just didn't get along, clashed personalities(especially after the clean cut army action where all are equal). Something like a toothbrush argument, where it's always one sided story, or that cable thing, you playing tunes to celebrate or ..well..coming here to "gloat", it just seems like it's noones fault at particular, but just a personality clash and you both do things to annoy eachother.

No offense here, but funny how you sounds as bad as you make him sound, when you say you'd play happy days and come to forums to tell your "buddies" you get rid of him. Or that you tell the "toothbrush" incident, which always sounds so one sided.

I think though, that i would probably, most likely, side with you as you haven't come across a-holish in the past and probably won't.
