I thought I was being original Oh well, in simple terms then...surely you remember the countless relic raids that crashed due to the sheer number of people (including albs) that attended? I.e. we attempted many raids with 200+ people in OF...saying that it only happened last night is just a bit silly don't you think?

Well erm since the whole layout of the frontiers changed even those who knew the old ones like the back of their hands could get lost.

4 weeks of beta testin , 2 weeks in english
All i am sayin u should have left yer exca char /realm n get a clue b4 the beta ended. With the help of the map u could find yer way after a few hours of play.

What happened yesterday was an abuse of a hand full of ppl who were in the beta server aided by the nf n00bs who thought of what is the easiest thing 2 do so zerg the hibs.

Hope things become clear in the next days n ppl find that they can take a keep elsewhere than the server underdogs' ones.

seriously realms are pretty equal atm maybe mid is a bit better but alb classes are faar away from gimped

i had fun last night even tho i hate zergs and keep takes, mythic has given keep takes a whole new perspective and made the gfx pretty good imo on seige warfare.

Shame the SI client doesnt work, and the names etc but will be fixed eventually i guess.

Here's my thoughts about the subject.

When I started playing DAOC I rolled a wizard thinking I wanted a heavy nuker.

Specced ice to get to 50 and then got stuck there, RVR was near impossible
since my little warder ass got ganked either by stealthers or by a zerg.

Rerolled a sorc, and lo and behold, lots of util and a pet to boot.
It was tons of fun in NF yesterday.
After a while I got tired of the zerg though, so I ran off to the mid frontier
when everyone else was lagging around in emain.

Those who think they cannot get any solo action in NF, think again.
IF you just avoid the zerg (easely seen as the bunch of swords/flames whatever on map) then you can find some good solo action.

Im low RR and not even lvl 50 yet and still I had fun.

IMO its well worth to give a try.

Besides, a solo kill and your almost rich! Damn the gold drops are insane

its funny albs can get 200+ for 1st day in NF so why did they never try and get the relics with 200+ before NF ?

it's new and the first couple of weels the zerg is committed soon the wheels will fall off and relic status will return to normal

well its no fun for anyone like that. I expected the mid numbers that showed but albs were through the roof. At one point i was defending a tower with friends and it was a losing battle but fun going and was making rps while losing. Then 3fg more appeared whilst there was equal numbers of albs attacking two other positions :/

It will settle when people spread out more, but i hardly see how numbers like that make it fun for albs also. I personally, and im sure others share the same view; that it isn't actually that fun to topple like that and would rather split off.

But i stand by my first reply i did actually enjoy opening night, its a lovely add-on to the game!

You think Albs getting owned in old style emain was fun for them? You think we like castable stun even though large numbers say its not that great (I got a clue for ya, my last hib deaths have all been from castable stun) .

I'm an Alb and I enjoyed owning for a change, I didnt care that that we have much greater numbers it was nice just walking over the hibs and mids for a change.

The owning is short term but for the moment I'll go out and damn well enjoy myself for a change.

As for other Albs not enjoying it?, all the ones I was grouped with and talking too absolutly had a whale of a time. The shoe is on the other foot and frankly I like it. Things will change and this will probably get boring quickly but I'm gonna enjoy it while I can..

And I managed to get Sharks Skin gloves credit yesterday too yesterday was a good day.

At the time you got to Da Behnn there were over 200 albs in the zone. From what I could see you were badly outnumbered - even without the LDs that both sides suffered from.

Seems hibs had a hard time of it tonight: both Mids & Albs zerging their keeps with far greater numbers than hibs could get together. Rather unfair but things will move to Alb/Mid soon enough Im sure.

And to Allways: that mid zerg of 50+ was actually 80+ according to the guard spam

albs and mids will always work together against hib realm (never seen it otherwhys tbh)
