Bored of teamwork and realm duty...lmfao..it was a test server..they tested what having all relics and keeps was like. And lack of working together didnt lose them, the realm/relic reset did that.

the relics were reset to mids having 3 str and hibs having 3 pow? little odd..

also, it may have been a test server, but there were still 1500 players on it almost 24/7. 50% of which were albs.

all im saying is that there were twice as many albs as there were hibs or mids on gorre, both when albs had 6 relics and a shitload of keeps, and when they had no relics and the keeps were balanced.

time will tell anyway

Was only out briefly with two chars on excal, had some fun. Don't like it very much when high rr's come and spoil the fun though, leave the keeps for the roleplayers!
Tested my ns on prydwen and had some fun there too, albs were taking glenlock from mids. Not fun when shitty rr 11 infil is there too though:-P

I suggested yesterday in the alliance chat to release all hib keeps so the roleplayers could take them and we might get reasonable numbers soon. I would like to see all hibs avoiding the NF zone for about 1 week and then we can see further.

You are aware that on gorre there were a whole host of people there trying out new chars in different realms right? Saw many hib/mid names in alb on there and it seemed as though they were trying to see what the fuss was about alb chars apparently being so weak. So most rolled a solo sorc to compare it with current balanced group warfare

If we have to keep facing massive zergs it might be best indeed to boycott rvr like they did on USA. It worked there, 1.71 came to fix the issues. Just odd that GOA didn't understand that and released it right away.

And if you go afk for 2 mins at a keep, you will be dead when you get back :/

you all are bitching about the 1st night of NF, well i wanna bet it different already today, simply because everyone was lining up to take a look in the NF. its not odd that even the most addictive PVE'ers go take a look in NF.

Last night was the first time 4 many ppl who just dled nf n asked how they port from the keep 2 nf cause they used 2 buy the medallion 2 hib frontier.
After findin the way 2 the nf , their frontier they were lost. Some were 4 the first time on their frontier n some others saw their frontier 4 the first time in nf.
Then they asked how they port 2 the keeps. Most they were lucky 2 find that their realm has a keep in the enemy frontier.
So most of ppl did zerg cause they were n00bs in the nf , scared of the vast terrain n the danger of random group might pop out of nowhere.
Who is the easy target ? hibs... ogogogogogogogo

To all albs try 2 take a mid keep 2 c yer @@
N mids should take an alb keep n stop them from portin if they want 2 roam hib frontier by themselves.

Welcome to DAOC - always nice to have new kids on the block. Might want to take a few moments asking one of the longer standing players (someone who's played longer than a month or something) about the history of relic raids. That way when you post you won't have everyone laughing at you.

I went on the original relic raids as an Alb, then I relic raided as a Hib, then as a Mid. It was a test server ffs.

not just the albs - the mids flocked to emain just like the albs - sounds like everyone was a bit confused without porting and thought "ooh better take a boat to emain instead" this ended up with mids porting to crauchon and albs porting to da behn... bad situation for hibs (since once they have a place in the enemy realm to port to everyone and their dog will go there purely because it's easy). However it seemed to turn into a mid/alb battle at the center keep (which I went to for 10m before suiciding - impossible to move there was so many people around - how did you fit so many mids in such a small tower? and no I don't know how we fit so many albs into such a small frontier heh )

Took a boat and sieged Nottmoor Spire (I figured that since it took us 10m to find the way to it past the bloody mountains we might not get killed on the ram again ) and had a nice fight with what eventually got up to 20 mids, first defending the spire, then attacking the watchtower with fights in between then being pushed back into the spire (were down to 3 defenders though by then)

First night of NF I've came up with the following "things to do":
Avoid the uberzergs
Bring more shields.

so albs compalained and animist are now so underpowered they are hardly worth taking out in rvr. yet sorc's are unlikley to be touched( the most over powered single class in the whole of doac )
