i thought most people could control their dreams when they first close their eyes to the point they actually fall asleep, from reading lucid dreams i got the impression its when you are waking up if you can control them. Its the ones before you wake that get analyzed not as you drift off

When i am drifting off i can control them 100%

Not really, lucid dreaming can achieve complete, all night control of the dream. In deep deep sleep even. And like said, in lesser states lose/gain control in the middle of it.

And also, setting boundaries on dreams(like, no nightmares, dream about sex(yeah i know people always think this)) is achieved rather "easy" now.

The dream control, real control that is, comes when you can control the part in the deepest sleep.

The "drifting in" part is sometimes called the "hallucination" part, where you know you're in your bed and control what you see, how you feel etc.

Usually the "drifting out" part is similar, you gain control of reality while the dream sequence still creeps in a bit.

The MOST fun i've had is when i try to get into a dream paralysis(which many fear), that's when the real funky things are achieved. You see yourself, laying in your bed, in your room, and can even conjure stuff into the room. More real then real that :D

one thing that does that (which i dont recommend, even tho i do it) is Ketamin

Do the right amount and you have the most amazing waking dreams, its called a hole, by looking into your hands you can see so much, last time i done it i watched a pyramid being formed to swimming in the ocean, i've had other stuff.

I know its not dreaming but its the same effects you mention above

Like i said i dont recommend doing it because its bad

Yeah, i don't, personally, recommend dream control, wake dreams or other dream related areas enhanced with drugs/subtitutes. Some find them helpful, help achieve things and other stuff like that, but i don't like to even suggest it.

Seen some/done some pretty weird stuff in the past three months when i really started to kick off in my "zen" of sleep. Now i'm trying to control time more, i've heard of people actually living two weeks in one night of sleep.

Like actually live in a dreamworld, feel like it's two weeks, and then wake up the next day of real life.

Only real problem that comes from too much dreamtime control, is that it has a tiny % of a chance to f*ck up boundaries of reality/dream :D

I dreamt about three women pleasuring me.

Does this make me a stud? :ninja:

I can't seem to remember any dream I have had now for ages. Is that a good sign? I normally fall into bed in the early hours of the morning after being on this godamn computer for hours. I used to dream about my lost girlfriend for years - real torment - but that has stopped too thank god. Maybe you can occupy yourself so much mentally that you can't remember dreams? I read somewhere that you only remember dreams when you are half awake kinda. Maybe that is the reason I don't seem to dream anymore. I am either oblivious or awake. I prefer it like that to be honest.

Sparx stop pulling punches - old.Tohtori is off his rocker - right?

No i'm not, i may be loony at times, and sometimes really odd, but i'm not insane. And regarding this subject, i'm a 100% serious(on the dream control and the anxious days).

Do you really want to go there? Start getting personal like that? No. So kindly leave it alone.

Nah, I might prod but I won't upset if I can help it. Nothing upsets me on a personal level. My life is about psychological issues. If you are in a 'bad way' you won't find a better friend than me. I only step in though if you really are suffering. There is a vast difference between 'upset' and 'in trouble' mentally. If you are looking at my responses to Clown and trying in any sort of way to 'get my back up' then I advise you to leave well alone. It won't work.

I'm looking at you, coming to my thread, reading what i've written and then proceeding into calling me mentally unbalanced, or in need of medication. That's all i'm looking and telling right here and now, for you to stop it.

If you don't want to contribute to the matter, and only come in to get a rise out of me, it's not welcome. Understood?

You are like a great many on this forum - no sense of humour. You are so wrapped up in your own troubles you can't make out someone that is doing nothing more than making light of your troubles. Look at me all you want m8 but all you will see is a much more life experienced person who is highly tuned to people in need. Think you have had troubles? Ok maybe you have. I don't mind if you say all sorts of crap against me. I will probably laugh about it! You though will probably feel better for it. So post away m8 - shoot!

First:

You are like a great many on this forum - no sense of humour.

This might be the funniest thing i've read all year, you probably have no idea why, but others will.

And then:

You are so wrapped up in your own troubles you can't make out someone that is doing nothing more than making light of your troubles. Look at me all you want m8 but all you will see is a much more life experienced person who is highly tuned to people in need. Think you have had troubles? Ok maybe you have. Evidently the part where i asked "Understood?" is answered with a no. So, i'm just going to ask a mod to remove your blatant "please flame me" posts, mind you , i asked nicely for you to stop, and leave it at that.

No offence Flintlock, but going into that detail/questioning/saying about stuff like that on a public forum is completely out of order. You've honestly got no rights to speculate on anything he may have done/may not have done. It's stupidly personal.

He said he didn't want to talk about it, yet you carry on. He is not a `patient`of yours on this forum. The fact that you carried on is something that most professionals would get sacked for (Especially as it's not letting the person in question confide in you)

*Sigh*

May not take a genius to know that I don't know the protocol in which professionals follow, but I've had enough help in that region to realise what is and what isn't allowed. Silly person you are... Intentions were good, but you came at it in a twatish way. Once again, stupidly stupid thing to do.

I give up. Primodona he seems to be. Oh well if he can't take a few remarks I will leave well alone. Real hardened at the bar drinker for sure. Yeah - right!

Well i was gonna stoop to your level, and almost did start my reknown flaming, but decided that you're not really worth it.

Keep on insulting me, go ahead, you've proven to be "life experienced, older and wiser" allready, so do continue. There's ofcourse nothing wrong in you barging in and starting to offer psychological help to someone who doesn't need, or infact want it, with no just reason.

And why might have you done it? Because you saw me talking about controlling dreams, a well known method for dreaming, and decided that the correct way to discuss it is to point and laugh and call me insane. How mature of you *clap clap*

Well, speculating if your dishwasher is stolen and calling me insane, offering medication and continuing to do so when asked to stop is a bit different ballpark :p

Not to mention he seems to know how hardened i am, that i've got REALLY big issues and all that. Funny.

Well, let me just put it bluntly for you.

We're not on your kiddie playground in neverneverland, we're not your test subjects or labrats and we sure as hell don't appreciate people treating us like that.

Now, in the immortal words of... i bet someone famous on these here forums...kindly, f*ck off.

And just a lil, teeny tiny flame for you, to keep you warm on the road: People who are actually competent in psychology, are "older, wiser and life experienced", usually type the word "capture", with less "gangsta" in it.

I see. So another person on this forum doens't like being talked back too. Well that is understandable. Hell who would. Trouble is there are people that will and I am one of them. Not sure what the hell point I am trying to put across really. Just to say never to take yourself so seriously. Someone somewhere is going to disagree with you m8 so you better deal with it. Calling for some banning stick doesn't seem to be the right thing in my mind somehow. Could be though that the mods must be thinking that this guy is upsetting a few now so we better ban him. Then again it could be that this guy is just upsetting guys that ain't been upset before. No-one has bothered doing so before. Mmm - makes you think don't it. I don't cry for the banning stick when I get upset so why should you - and a few others I could mention.
