Nothing more to discuss really, Alarm clock raids sucks, but this raid wasnt alarm clock, but nor was it primetime. Not letting mids know they were coming?,.. isnt that the point keeping it quiet, at least when they got a GOOD chance defending if they know it in time...

If the plan was so good why not do it at 6pm or even 8?

Anyhoo grats on the relic even tho the tactics were sumwhat underhand, not a single deathspam from guards. We only found relic gone when it when neutral, sos and albs were long gone.

You are starting to apper really really sad.....Seriously 1/2am is not that far off prime time, infact there were plenty on from all realms to make a difference....Besides it's on a frikking saturday!!! not some weekday, most people does not have to get up early and can enjoy a long nights play...

no they didnt finster lead the first relic raid it started at midnight on the weekend, we got mids str relic, mid took the str relics back i believe it was at 7 am about 1 week later both of em so you infact learn from the past i remember it i was one of the few people who was awake at the time over 200 mids pounding excal at 7 am

mids are just gonna use this as an excuse to do what they do best act lame, ardamels already proved mids can take em at prime time but i just guess your alarm clocks are feeling lonely atm so time to dust em off and show us how 1337 you are at taking relics and how much you wtfpwn those npc's

No I haven't, I've usually retake the relics at the exact time as albs took it Just as Nol said. This won't be the case this time tho.

True honour amongst realms stopped, the moment this game went live.

Anyone who is deluded enough to think that the unwritten rules of engagement/relic taking or pure sportsmanship of RVR combat should be strictly adhered to is clearly not capable of grasping that the "free" internet & online competitive gaming is probably not for them.

Whilst I agree, to a certain extent, that making a relic raid a glorious battle would be a wonderous event, with a large attack and defense force, the harsh reality is that there are no rules out there (aside from the ones in stone from Mythic in the CoC) and even though we all police ourselves to our own set of ethics, you cannot deny that this isnt a group of friends playing footie in the park or having a quick game of bomberman after the pub, this is a realm versus realm game and the relics are fair game 24 hours a day.

Ideal world = we all fight lovely decent sized battles on a smooth server, with relics changing hands regularly and everyone walks way happy

Reality = unbalanced realms fuelled by ego's & drama queens scrap over relics & keeps in their own little worlds of RVR, on a server & infrastructure that a blind one armed monkey could support.

I love the reality option, most do and whilst its not the ideal situation for us all to be in, its how the games evolved (good or bad ?) and why we keep chucking our monies to GoA.

The Realm vs Realm thing is nice , but it got it's drawback , like all noisy people that have to begin to throw dirt when other realm achives something.

There is always the noisy people that get noticed henche gives the reputation of the realm =o/......

Anyway , the tactics that was used wasn't the most fun that is out there , but it did get results and as said before, there is almost none pride left in taking relic's. I hope that NF will make the keep and relic fighting more fun and get less people angry but i honestly doubt it =o/

Come one guys , it's a game and you play a game for fun and even shit happens in a game =o) only thing to do is to try take relic back and not starting to say how bad their RR where , we all play for diffrent reasons we don't got the right to look down on each other's play style , tho i know sometimes some people really get on each others nerves , but it's a good thing you can log out and do something else to cool down............


Btw was a fun duel we had in odin's at AMG kagato ^^v , /hakansson

I can only hope that assuie & co had fun when taking relic's , because thats what this is all about =o) i hope for a nice RR from mid's in a few days
