Nobody now thinks that ripping out old fireplaces .

We ripped out our old fireplace when we converted the house (mind you we put a new on in :) )

All a matter of :

1. cost
2. Taste.

Imagine the scenario :

For a replica door which looks exactly like the one you have :£800
For a plastic one that does the job : £300

Which one you gonna choose?

Well, don't know about everyone else, but it just started chucking it down in Luton. Just had a couple of inches fall in about 30 mins. Hope I don't get snowed in at work. Don't want to have to sleep here again!

Hello!

It's at last started to snow in London again :D Naturally being 'darn sarf' they had to go one better, so we were also treated to a thunder and lightning storm too. Pft! hehe :D

It was nice in London earlier. Ground-shaking thunder, bright lightning and then lots of snow to top it off. It's a shame that some rain decided to start melting it about 5 minutes after it came down though.

They are a bit out of focus as I dont have a tripod and I used the night picture setting which keeps the shutter open a bit longer than normal.

I've shrunk the images so they look a bit more focused.

Bit blurry, no tripod and it was bloody cold! My cat just went outside for the first time since it snowed and he got the fright of his life, scared stiff of the snow!
