This I hate. Driving on snow and ice is challenging enough without people walking on the only vaguely clear part because it didn't occur to them that converse might not be suitable footware for six inches of snow.

It was a bit painful to cycle in this morning, not because the snow caused me much issue but at the time I left it was sleet and it was doing its best to scratch my eyeballs.

I havent been able to do a decent days work since last wednesday when it hit, and the roads this morning were a sheet of ice. It took me 2 1/4 hours to travel 8 miles to get to my workshop

It's raining here where I am, there was a reasonable effort to clear the snow away, so it's in big piles of crunchy ice that's starting to melt. I think i'll get my car out tomorrow.
