Oki what do i need to cap to hit hard with arrows is it dex/strengh ? just want to be able to be a decent dmg dealer than what i am now

ill even accept advice of scouts 2 Oo

was not sure if this is the right place to put this thread but as its about my ranger and rvr speccing / cap

im rr3 atm dun a few runs but want to make enemy run away not run to me and kick my ass cause my archerey dmg is pants


any advice would be gratefull as my ns guna hit rr5 this or next week so guna play ranger a bit

and could you plz put down what items gives me the cap increase as welll

Hmmm; get atleast 45 bow minimum spec; that's a sweet-point for me personally; surely 50 bow hits harder; but at the cost of loosing melee-skills.

44 pierce 45 bow 35 stealth 16 pathfinding rest CD (18-20 orso)

Cap your DEX to the max; get Aug.Dex2 fast; more helps ofcourse; but thats reasonable priced.

Get +archery dmg gear. Golden Scarab Vest, Mariashas Sharkskin gloves etc. An artifact bow is nice; but Immo works fine for snipery

Be sure to cap your bow-skill; so +11 recurve bow on your SC.

I use ML9.10 pants; thats +10 dex-cap; you can also get GsV/GoV for some dexterity-increase, Krojer Ring of Dexterity, Blackened Wrap ofcourse

Somtimes you will notice archery is still pants; but sometimes its good. Learn the armour-tables so you know what arrows to use on what enemy. On casters; everything is neutral but most cap thrust/slash above crush; its abit of a gamble really.

But picking the right arrow on the right enemy = easy 20% dmg won.

Rather fond of ceremonial bracer (dex version) on my hunter, dex cap, hp's cap and the stun feedback thing is useful v's mincers. The ML9 pants are really nice, battler sleeves also have + dex cap.

The right arrow types are a biggy though, the difference on a crit is huge if you pick the wrong ones <coughs> not that I do that...

lol nope look at my sig my main shadster just could not be bothered with ranger and with me duo with izihere im neally rr5 so why not get my ranger to rr5 while duoing with izihere lol emaying ? who would buy a hib account in this realm thats getting weaker by the day

Pants are rare; can use Wind Hardened Leggings or smth; they have +5 dex cap iirc and are questable.. Also spotted on CM's for like 300g so no big deal..

ML9.10 ranger pants = impossible to get really without raiding Phoenix a few times. Its not a rare drop really; its just u need to be ML8 and it cannot be farmed 'easily' since u need to whack stuff for hours :S

They are...Arc Cinder Tainted Sleeves

Dex 22, all melee 2, qui 16, crush/slash 6, +7 dex cap and 150 pt abalative proc.

no its not; when u got the stun feedback up and a mincer hits insta-stun it will block it yes; but it will not reset the mincer his insta-stun timer so he can immediatly stun again.

But I guess wasting mana on a mincer is 'useful' too

Well, that's a pile of steaming crap isn't it!! I always forget to use the damned things anyway, HATE the timer on using charges, mez turn all the way then since not a lot of point for hibbies casted stun. Nerf! Ok, they not quite as useful as I thought, but still a nice bracer if you looking for dex cap.
