Sneezing on your hand

We've all done it. A sudden sneeze, no possible warning, no tissue to hand, you put your hand up to your nose, and a second later, you have a hand full of snot. It was a mighty sneeze. A full liquid discharge.

What do you do ?

Do you wipe it on your trousers ? If so what part ? The top of the leg ? The thigh ? The arse ? Back of the knees ?

Do you wipe it on your trousers even if you've got a tissue to hand ?

Or would you try and wipe it on someone else's clothes ?

Drag the snot along the carpet ? The curtains ? The wallpaper ?

Or would you be hygeinic and sensible and find a tissue immediately ?

Wash your hand ? Nah !

I never sneeze in my hand. My parents taught me to use the elbow, always. And I can't remember the last time snot came out with the sneeze, but i reckon i'd use some water and clean my sleeve thoroughly.

That, or just sneeze someone in the face.

I don't know why, but people eating in a cafe don't appreciate it if you stare in at them from the other side of the glass, and sneeze on the window. Odd.

normally i try and get it in, or on the back pocket of my jeans.
its usually darker there and people are less likely to go "wtf is that stain down your fly".

pretty bad when your sitting down though, and its got nowhere else to go other than all over the magazine your reading, or hope it will dry up or evaporate quickly.

if i had to i would do it in my sock, well hidden and feels better!

but i've learnt how not to sneeze!

tried once at a test, complete silence, me sitting at the highest table for some reason, got the sneeze sneaking up on me - had pencil in one hand and the assignment in the other so no hands free. *POW* right onto my paper and everybody staring at me. test ruined

old people are the worst when sneezing. They're always walking around with the same old tissue in their pocket. You seriously dont want to steal their wallet.

The 5 second rule also applies for snot! Been on your hand for more than 5 seconds and its yucky - less means it still belongs inside you...

Absolutely. Lick it back up and swirl it around your mouth a bit then when u are just left with the well formed bit and then you spit that back into your hand and play with it for a while until it gets really sticky then pop it back in for a good chew.

However if i'm at work i wipe it on the side of me chair.

If thats the case you sneeze and have lots of it on your hand I would go to the nearest person and say hi and pat him on the back as if I knew him and then apologise after saying 'sorry I thought you were somebody else' and walk off
